Everyone's latest acquisitions!

How is the Kraken in hand? Do you like it? Have you received the crystalline Ti scales? Do you have pictures of them compared to the bead blasted scales?
What about the performances? I heard that it's not thin behind the edge.
I ordered a Kraken (2nd gen) and I should received it in a week :)

It's pretty good in the hand, good size and egos ethos (f-u auto corrupt) ergos for me. The crystalline scales are cool, and a lot lighter in color and closer to the blade color, so trying to decide which I like better. I still have the original scales on it for now.

It's not particularly thick behind the edge, but definitely not as thin as something with a hollow grind like a CRK (or cheap CRJB Errant), or like a thin stock tall flat grind TRM Atom or Neutron 2 (or Giantmouse Biblio XL). The edge is incredibly bitey and sharp, so it still cuts well.

I'm glad you made me pull this out tonight, because I didn't wipe it down well the last time I used it, and the blade had some schmutz still on it that needed to be cleaned off!

Just destroyed a nice microfiber by cleaning the blade 😓

My youngest son asked when he could get his first pocket knife the other morning. He says he wants a collection.

This one is smart enough to talk knife with me and show interest in Dads obsessions. Clever for a six year old.

Surfing the exchange that evening I bump into this little honey. So it's the boys latest acquisition.

Supervised use only, but he's really set on learning the right way.

When I told the seller about this, he threw in this really neat lanyard bead. Super cool move. Kids over the moon.
