Everything Lefties thread

I really like the design as an EDC. So I bought one.
I got the basic red g-10 stonewash. Since I will be carrying and using it. Though both the micarta versions tempted me.

Made by Bestech. Not ideal considering the "other" issues involved. BUT I feel we need to support when they make true leftys. That way they will make more.

I didn't buy one because I'm not a fan of the blade shape, but everything else about it is just right for me. My hope is that they sell well and it makes him consider doing a run of lefty Synapses or if he ever does some Axons in the future with a different blade style to include left handed versions.

I am a lefty to the core in a right handed world that I’ve adapted to . But this is my only left handed knife that I enjoy immensely every time it slides in my left front pocket and out into my left hand😁

I wanted a Vero in carbon fiber with hand satin blade but alas was too slow on Monday. Supposedly there will be more available next month.

Holy s***! They make left handed PM2s?
There aren't any available currently as they are transitioning the steel to S45VN. You can preorder them at an online retailer 🤞 they come out soon. I sold mine about a year ago and really miss it.

I am a lefty and carry left handed or ambi knives exclusively. Here's my collection of Pro-Tech lefty autos. I keep pestering them to make more.

If they do either the SnG, Rockeye or even maybe a TR-4 I would be sorely tempted. Even though you're not allowed to carry autos in MA.

Word from them is they try to make one lefty model a year. This year they are busy but hoping for fall.

I'll add pics at some point, but I am all about the lefty knives. Since learning about CRK 2 years ago, I've acquired 12 lefty folders, all of which are still in my collection. I also got a Kizer Megatherium lefty that's fun. The only knives that have got any pocket time in the past couple years are my new Hinderer lefty XM-18 and my new Spartan Harsey Folder. It's not a lefty, but the clip is reversible, the thumb studs are double, and only the frame lock is left handed. I like it enough to make it work either way. I've got PM2s as well, including a lefty, which I like. For me, I just love strong built, incredible folders. So even though I have a desk job, and my knives pretty much open packages, cut food, and serve as a backup option to my sidearm if necessary, I still want the best craftsmanship I can find. I just have a love for quality.

I've got "Dark-Siders" from Hinderer and Chris Reeve.curiously: I'm having trouble adapting to the left-hand frame locks...IMG_18122021_205018.jpgIMG_18122021_205005.jpg

Yeah, go figure I'm a lefty who carries a right hand liner locking knife in my right rear pocket. Pull it out with my right hand, open it up, put it in my left, and start cutting cardboard. Close it with left hand, and back to the right hand, and into the pocket whence it came.

If you're not actively purchasing "Port-siders": do you look for ambi-knives?
Or do you just go with the flow, and buy "regulat" designs?

It seems I've "done that dance": at least a million times.

having Hinderer step up to left handed knives has been great I'm hoping to see Spartan make some also. I think it worked out great for Hinderer selling them through their site they keep all the profits.
