EXCALIBUR vs. JEDI LIGHT SABER

I dunno Cobalt. That laser disk thing was pretty tough. However, after having extensively researched my sci-fi archives, I came upon one fatal flaw of the Laser Disk Cutter. It can not sever my INFAMOUS TROUSER WOOKIE!!!

If we are slipping to talk about LoTR swords - How about Ringil - sword of Fingolfin - the sword that he used in his duel with Morgoth (and hurt Big M sewen times).

I'd pic Ringil any day ower Excalibur or light saber...

About the movie: Why they have added Arven in adventures. WHY. Is it so important to add female attendance in movie that the whole story has to be changed. AND why Arven is Liv Tyler? GRrrrrrrrrr.

As a Tolkeinnut who feels a rant coming on, I think maybe we might want to start a Lord of the Rings movie rant thread over in Community. And would any of the folks who haven't quite exhausted everything they might have to say about Excalibur and Light Saber like to accept Paracelcus's invitation to bring this thread over there too?

Lightsaber hands down. They are handmade in order for a Jedi to finish his/her/its training. Plus the Excaliber is still steel, granted enchanted steel, but its still steel. Plus I dont trust any lady who hangs out underwater playing with a sword.
