Wow. Every so often I look through the GBU just to see who I need to look out for.

In this incident, it amazes me how the guy who's doing the questionable transactions acts as if EVERYTHING happened at one time. I highly doubt your $ issues happened overnight. $ was probably tight, you lost your job (Or something like that) & you find yourself strapped for $. However, if I was in that situation, I wouldn't be trading if I couldn't spare the $ for shipping. When you sell a knife, it's normal to ship after you get paid for the knife, so you'd have the $ to ship.

Also, you seem to call others a liar quite easily, but don't answer to what you've lied about. According to Chris (The one you're calling "acid"), you've told him that you shipped the knife, but never did, so you lied about it & never explained why. You also said you're going to county jail for some speeding tickets, when in fact it was theft. You then downplayed your theft because of the store that you stole from & said it's the 1st time you've ever stolen.

I'll admit I don't know the laws in your state, but I do know my state's laws & usually a 1st offense of petty theft/shoplifting would not get you time in county jail. Now, if the amount you stole was high enough & they charged your for burglary (Entering the store with the intent on stealing), then you could possibly be looking at some time because you got hit with 2 felonies. However, you did state that you're not a felon.

Anyways, as you can see, what you write & what really happened is a little confusing & you don't help in setting the matter straight. Also, you've been giving quite a bit of time, many ideas, & offers of $ to pay for the shipping of said knives & yet they haven't been shipped yet. You get pissed at people that have been calling you names & aren't talking nicely about you, but instead of explaining yourself, you just attack the people that talked "bad" about you.

As I said before, you shouldn't be trading if you can't pay for the shipping & the 2 people that are waiting for their knives from you did do something they shouldn't have. They shouldn't have shipped their knives until they received yours. That's not because you're considered a rip off, it's because you don't have ANY positive feedback on a successful transaction.

Well, the bottom line is this is a learning experience for all the parties involved, unfortunately.
 
I am going to jail for unpaid traffic tickets, not retail theft. But half the idiots on here don't know how to read. I make my statements very clear. I said I stole HUMAN food. What do they say? That I stole a bag of DOG food, why? Because they can't freaking read.

All this shit happened in exactly two days.

Ethan, today, please take care of shipping me what you have promised many times to do. This is the last time I will contact you directly on this issue. If I do not receive conformation today that you have shipped me the promised knives I will initiate a complaint against you with the postal inspector as well as the state attorney general. I would really rather not as I am quite busy, but I will not walk away from this matter without doing my civic duty. I have been quiet, patient and reasonable throughout. I have not participated in any hyperbole or pejorative remarks at your expense. So that is it, I am tired of reading this thread every day hoping to see that you have done the right thing and made good on your word. After today I will give up on you and with regret take a good deal of my time to fulfill my obligation as a responsible citizen. If I do not report this matter to the governing authorities then it will be part my responsibility should this happen again to someone else. I hope you can understand this perspective. If you send the knives I will have no responsibility to take any further action as I will not have suffered a loss, some frustration but no loss. If you do not send the knives then I will have an obligation and responsibility to take action against you.

Who cares...now one does. What they would like you to do is ship the knives to the people who were fair and honest to you in their trading transactions.

You just continue to nitpick when you should be shipping the knives and sending proof of this to the parties involved

Now you are calling the people here idiots. These people have been patient with you, explaining the situation and going as far as paying the shipping costs you are unable/unwilling to pay for the deal you made.

Perhaps you don't understand the issue at hand right now, but I am sure that as you go on through life you will one day look back on this with great regret.

The people here are good natured and are just trying to help. Can you just not ship out the knives and be done with it and just move on?
 
From what I have been reading, the package needs to have stamps on it when they come to pick it up. I don't have any stamps or enough money to get some. I wan't these knives to get to you two. And I do not want a mail fruad charge. But I don't know how to get this done with zero dollars to my name. When I call fed ex they need an account number to ship them to you Todd. How does that work?

There was a member here who very kindly offered to send you $20 to ship the knives to us. Why didn't you take him up on his offer? Ethan, you are stalling. Its starting to look a lot like Mail Fraud O'Clock. You have less than 8 hours...

That might not be such a good idea, anyway. If he's as broke as he says, that $20 might come in real handy, you know, for, uh, dog food. :rolleyes:

And, what about this fiance', I guess she's broke too. Sounds like a marriage made in heaven. :eek:
 
Becuase I am not going to take charity. Thats why I did not take the twenty dollars. I need more than 8 hours I think. My fiance does not work tommorow (well today) I am going to buy some stamps and have the knives weighed.

Stamps? They don't put stamps on packages with any shipping service.:rolleyes: They weigh it and put a sticker on it with the price you pay to ship it.
