Experience with ZT Warranty Service

exactly. honest good customers have to subsidize in the form of higher prices that these bad customers cost in false warrantys claims and time and other costs to the manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers. really no different than shoplifters...in costing the rest of us higher prices to subsidize it.

Yes, unabashedly, I do. Who else would you ask for parts if not the company that manufactures the knives? Am I somehow wrong in asking that?

Yes, your wrong. That makes you exactley what jbmonkey jbmonkey was trying to compare you to

Right here ..... you supplied it .... good luck lol.

Not to mention.... you have gone from sending the knife in for warranty, asking the dealer for a refund, asking for customization from ZT, calling them liars and bashing them when refused, and now your receiving the knife back? You’ll be happy as long as you get a new blade put in your knife? We’re not buying it

You can keep your money too, 'cause I'm not selling anything. Again, what don't you understand? In the span of 2 days I went from ZT refusing to replace a poorly ground blade, to the small businessman retailer agreeing to issue a refund due to ZT's poor customer service. I can't write it out for you in crayon, sorry. The knife has been in the possession of ZT for the past two weeks and I'll put up pics one way or another once I get it back, since they refused to do anything about it. Cheers!

no i wont. you already admitted to trying to get freebies you didnt pay for under a warranty claim. like it or not you just admitted to being exactly as i described what i was seeing. so thanks for that. quoted below for record.

"Wait, so asking for knife parts is an excuse for refusing to replace a poorly ground blade? Anyone who has asked for a free pocket clip or new screws because THEY stripped them, or broke something, that's all good? But me asking for a different color pivot pin to be used when they replace the poorly ground blade, that's somehow egregious? Lol."

He has literally been insulting members since he brought these two threads up and naturally some people are being defensive. He brought back 2 Necro threads in an effort to get his message out...... why not simply start his own thread? He’s gone from bashing them..... all the way to post #82(which says it’s all). The rules clearly state necro threads shouldn’t be brought back and member insults will not be tolerated(we should all follow this).... so why not close it down, and let him start his own thread?

Hear, hear for thread closure.

Yes, because you are asking for an UPGRADE and parts for knives you do not own. You don't own a satin 0450, a zdp-189 0450, a knife with a deep pocket clip, polished pivot, or black backspacers.

ZT offers to send people small parts free of charge for knives they own if they are needed. You intentionally tried to abuse their good faith system. People like you are why companies stop trying to do nice things for their customers...it stops being worth it.

Companies like Spyderco don't even want you disassembling their knives. You think they will just happily customize and upgrade knives for people? Could you imagine someone sending a base g10 Manix 2 to them and asking for a s110v blade and some gray scales?

The fact that you can't see that this is wrong is pretty shocking and disheartening.

yes. you are asking for parts you didnt wear out like deep pocket clip and different colored pivot for free while under "warranty" repair. they said no and you tried to smooze them into.ot by yoir own words...... and then you came here bashing them for saying no. you brought it up the wont give you free parts, not us. i cant help you if you cant see your flaws and learn from them. you are exactly as i described. the more you post the more you prove me right. im hoping you learn from your mistakes and then prove me wrong by not being as i described...

I never bashed them for not giving me free parts, stop sniffing glue. I bashed them for refusing to replace a poorly ground blade. Don't mistake my bashing some forum members for me bashing ZT.
