Woohoo! On my way to the club! Wifes 28th birthday is tomorrow. I knew there was a reason I let my father in law move in, he's watching my son tonight. Been waaaaay too long since I have taken the wife out dancing.

I may post an update tomorrow, if I am sober by then....

Thanx Daniel, I just told her! Man, I did some damage last night. I'm not normally a whisky drinker but I sure was last night, I think I stopped counting at 7 Jameson's and gingers, 2 A.M.F's, 3 Red Stripe's, a PBR, and I think something like 10 test tube shots. The tab wasn't all that bad, I think the bartender liked me, although I think he knew I wasn't too interested in him...

Sure felt good to get out dancing! We must have spent an hour and a half on the dance floor. They had a stripper dancing contest which was, um, interesting. Saw some crazy stuff last night, not a whole lot that I can post here.

Had a fantastic time! Good friends and good drinks. Now, what's for breakfast?

Yeah! I bet that was fun. That is some drinking, lmao... I can do that at times.

I'm eating sausage and eggs. The eggs have a ton of jalapenos and cheese on them, lol my wife is out right now. Man breakfast! :D

I'm still hungry even though I'm finishing up, I think I'll send this idiot Randy down to the store for some jalapeno chips and pepperoni.

Damn, you don't mess around. :D

Lindemans lambics like the Frambozens are my wife's favorite and one of mine also. I once brewed a true sour raspberry lambic with a strain of baccillus i made on my own, lol... It was an odd process to make it but it came out nice, some guys on a beer forum made more of it from my recipe.

ATTENTION AND CAUTION RESIDENTS OF THE STATES BETWEEN COLORADO AND NEW YORK: NEWS FLASH!

A large chopper has been spotted on its way from a remote mountain lair to what we are pretty sure is New York City. We are not exactly sure what the hell is going on but it is one big chopper, it appears to possibly be a massive razor blade but we are not really sure. It's followers have many names for it. Watch the F%$& OUT. It appears that the chopper has already taken at least one victim, only a small metal skull remains, we think it could be what is left of Chuck Norris after he merely saw the chopper. Do not approach the chopper, it may be armed. It is almost certainly radioactive and has been known to glow. We don't know why.

ETA before noon, NYC residents please be prepared.

boo bear boo.. my son loves bears... hmmm I hate bears.. skurd to death of them..

lol camping a few years back we were in the cascades and in one of the wilderness areas, as in no roads, no gas powered stuff.. no towns for LONG WAYS... and I swear I hear a bear.. then I know I do.. and it's with a smaller grunting bear.. getting closer.. and then I hear maybe a 1000 ft or more away another 2 people camping, but they are constantly singing to keep the bear away.. away AT US>.

lol I ended up making huge noise and it left.. down the slope, THANKFULLY.. that night.. I didn't sleep much =_= I think I had my little 9mm Kahr with me.. USELESS but made me feel a bit safer.. either way, BEAR with cub = scary.

I'd get some real killer bear spray with like 30ft plus range.. and make sure you pay attention to the wind if you ever need to use it :D then once it's pissed off, run downhill and pray :D bears can't run downhill very fast.. best chance you have. well that and a well placed high caliber round(s).

:)

Here at our house, we get.. deer.. and.. a crap load of birds.. squirrels.. snakes, turkeys.. and the occasional bobcat :D

I've been lucky enough to have seen 4 sightings in the past 4 years.. this one was about 20ft from the back window and I freaked out, ran for camera, and snapped a few off, these two are the best and I actually dig em :D SMILE! (crappy camera and crappy resize...meh)

Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy,tonight....and some Tom Rush: 'Driving Wheel.'

No large dangerous critters....but stray cats a-plenty,here.

Season opens @ daylight:30 on 19July11.

Scoped .22; subsonics.

And that's all I have to say, about that....

coffee time

You know, I should at least have some bear spray. I throw rocks at them, lol... I hit one with a small pebble once and it literally crapped itself then ran off, through a small tree.

I come out yelling at them but I will not leave my small porch until they cruise, then I keep throwing gravel into the woods at them until they are gone, for some reason the rocks freak them out completely, they don't understand them or something. On an older bear this doesn't work but I have younger ones in my trash.

I have heard the best way to get rid of a problem bear is to take a ziplock and carefully fill it with ammonia then coat it in peanut butter and leave it on a trash can... they will bite into it thinking it is a snack but they will never forget how it tastes! I poured ammonia all over my can last night, it came back and knocked the can over then cruised.

What scares me is that I can hear it, I have a window at the end of my bed that we keep open so I literally have only a screen between us and the trash is about 20 feet away.

Those Bobcat photos are awesome! I have seen one from my living room window for a second. They are usually too elusive to take photos of, those are way cool.

It would be nice to have a big rifle, I have a .410 shotgun that I could load with slugs but it is a break action, lol. Savage .22/.410 over under. It might take me a sec to get to it since it is in Texas. I grew up with guns and it would be nice to have a couple around the house in case of animals or even worse, people.

I'm always watching Dog the Bounty Hunter because it cracks me up... they have paintball guns that shoot mace or something like that, lol, I need one! It is like the funniest thing ever when Dog walks around with that can of mace like it is a gun... freeze tweakers!!

I took most of the day off today, lol I have been in the shop every day for 3 weeks and needed a break. I got to drive to a site of an old ghost town that is pretty close to my house, there was nothing there but it was cool, I found a couple of nice pieces of Jasper to cut... we have been looking for the spot for a couple of years and it was cool to finally make it. I bet it is only 10 miles from my house but it is remote, I live in a rugged area as far as terrain goes. http://forums.ghosttowns.com/showthread.php?3148-Tuckerville-Colorado

My fingertips are sore, I have filed notches into my fingernails, my elbow hurts, and I have burned my self twice. All in the name of making knives. I also found myself mesmerized by the wonderful color changes copper goes through when annealing. I managed to get a penny soft enough to bend with my bare hands! I have a couple new designs on paper today, too. Been feeling creative. I need some power tools so I can make knives with less work. Even though i managed to get a bit done, it would be nice to grind a knife in minutes, rather than hours.

Although I may be headed to Vegas for a quick trip tomorrow, so may not get much done this week.

Time for coffee! I'm really diggin' this new Costa Rican blend my buddy turned me on to. He owns a roasting company here, and gives me samples a pound at a time. Three things I never go cheap on, food, alcohol, and coffee. Nothing else matters!

Early mornin 'toons, anyone here remember Atom Ant?! I loved that one!
