Morning men.IM Hang tough brother I know the whole thing of working OT.It sucks when you do it but it is nice when you get the checks.My son's Freshman year of college i worked so much O.T. I was able to pay off his first year plus give him most of that money.Tell you what kids quickly forget the sacrifices you make for them all for them to have a better life than you.

Thanks Daniel.It was work 80 days straight with most of them doubles take one day off and back at it for 77 more days. At one point prisoners were saying I was there as much as them.........LMAO I always said I get to go home to a warm bed with a beautiful Mexican lady waiting for me.
 
I just got in from grinding choppers, 5 are now rough ground!

My arms are burnt on the bottom half from the sparks but dang they are looking good!

I'm going to shower, get a beer and some food then I'm going to post a photo or two...
 
Thanks B.C., I've been working o.t. since January. Only 2 people in the shop know how to do my job. One of them has been out for 17 weeks for shoulder surgery. So you can guess which one of the 2 people I am, lol.
Thanks Daniel, I'm just getting excited waiting to see them. Really looking forward to see Mrs. Farily's Fine Leather Sheaths.

Ouch! Overtime is good too though, great to get the work. You guys are working hard!

The sheaths are looking awesome, I think each one is better than the last. And you're getting the most recent ones! :D

Yeah, o.t. comes in real handy for buying lots of knives!!! :D

Morning men! IM that sucks that there are only 2 of you that know how to do your job.When something like a shoulder injury happens the other guy gets screwed with forced O.T.! I hope the other guy comes back before they burn you out!When he does come back reward yourself with some time away from work!

Daniel I am loving the in progress pics you keep posting of your work.Helps people to see just how much work goes into a custom knife!
 
Ha Ha, it's morning here fast1. about to head to bed. Got to get up in 5 or 6 hours. Do the work thing. But I'm supposed to have the next 2 weekend off!!! Woo Hoo Woo Hoo!!!!! Just been looking at Daniels work, trying to be patient.
 
Technically morning here so... Good Morning Guys!

BigCountry you should see the rack of steel I have! I was worried I would collapse the shelf. I have probably 20 feet of S7 and 20 feet of 3/16" O1 along with a lot of random steel as well including 5160, 52100, A2 and 1084.

Kydex... I bought in bulk once I found my favorite brand and have about 10 - 4'x2' sheets, it helps me keep my knife cost down buying in bulk.

For leather we buy it by the whole hide.

Handle material... I have a ton but am burning through it, I just bought a bunch more. My new thing is colored liners with black G10 or Carbon Fiber, I have white, red, blue, toxic green and black liners coming in, I'm going to be making more of my own my-carta soon as well. I want more MCAM too, I love that stuff...
 
The videos are fantastic!!!! I love the MCAM that is on my other Bowie from you and I am having it put on the new one your making.I love the MCAM a lot!Every one who has seen it commented on the handle color and how grippe it was.My hands did not slip at all when I field dressed that deer last hunting season.After I got my first DFK I could not wait to come up with a design for you to make.Daniel Fairly where your dream becomes reality in steel!!!!

I just got in a second ago and have a bunch of finished knives!
