Cool looking logos. I love doing logo illustrations, I used to have a notebook full of different ones I would see and draw out real quick. Vintage department stores had some of the very best styles.

I think if you took your logo and put it on this image, it would be cool. I'm doing this from my phone so I can't do as much as I want with it and for some eason it uploaded sideways in my photobucket...I think if you blacked out the writing at the bottom and put your logo there in a bight burnt orange it would be a great t-shirt.

PgeoOO thanks for posting that video Daniel did.I am going to try and epoxy one of my cord rapped handles. The knife is just plain awesome for hunting but when you get para cord soaked with blood you have to remove it and re do it.I think with the epoxy I could just wash it off.

Haha, that is awesome!

Well taking the family to the beach today. First time in a very long time that we all have had the day off together. Hope we can keep our sanity and enjoy it! Don't know which beach yet, but I'm headed west to start with...

Charged the camera, I'll check in tonigt. Happy Memorial Day!

Morning all. After the wife left for work, I've spent the last hour catching up on the latest here on Daniel's forum. I'll have to catch up over at EDCF a little later. Looking forward to reading the thread B'er Gnarly was talking about. Right now it's back to sleep for a couple of hours.

Morning y'all. Ended up going to Santa Cruz with the family yesterday. Its a beautiful drive there, about 115 miles one way, through the coastal forest for a good portion on it, and over the rolling hills of the Altamont pass. Got there early, enjoyed a nice stroll down town, had breakfast, did some window shopping, then headed for the Boardwalk and Wharf. It was my sons first time at the beach and he had a blast! Got him in the water, tried teaching him how to build a proper sandcastle, and I got to watch all the locals and hotties sun themselves!

I was going to put up some pictures this morning, but as I am getting ready it was quiet, too quiet. I wen looking for my son, and found him gleefully popping the keys off of the laptop

So I'll have to wait til I can get the rest of the pics uploaded to photobucket on someone eles computer.

Xander, that's just to funny. Most of the time the keys will go back on with no problem, unless they are broke.

Nope, they have this little funny frame thing that's hinged and that supports the key. They don't pop back in like a desktop keyboard. I have to order a new keyboard now...

Anyone have access to stuff like that, cheap?

Good morning guys!

Xander, have you tried looking for a replacement keyboard, I looked into them once and they are pretty cheap and easy to switch out. I am missing the E key on this computer, it has those hinged keys. Another advancement in computers, keys that can't be cleaned!

Maybe I'm not too smart, following a failed business model... making knives that will last!

I have this new Eknife coming out, you have to plug it in but I swear it's the latest technology! Have a rust problem? Call our friendly service representatives in India I mean Utah.

Ok, I managed to find the frames and a fantsti tutorial on the web on how to fix individual keys. Now if I an only find the C key that he popped off a while bak...

Vacation pics, right.

I took the scenic route through the Altamont Pass rather than over it. I only saw one other vehicle, a harley, going the other way. This is a drivers road, great fun on two wheels or four! I took these pics while driving...

That section is a good 45-50 minutes, then back on busy freeways for a while. But they suddenly drop you down into the coastal range and forest! I love this place. This is another fun section to drive, but highly dangerous. We saw 3 accidents on the way there, which is normal on any given day!

After about 35 minutes of driving through the hills we land in Santa Cruz. Driving in city traffic I dare not take pictures. So we find parking, get the kid all situated in his stroller and take off. First stop was Zoccoli's deli. Fantastic food and beer.

I highly recommend this beer, brewed in small batches in San Francisco...

Here is a pic of lunch...

then we went down to the beach and Board walk...It was busy, but not extremely crowded.

Often times the best part about candid vacation photos is what you capture in the background...

Spent pretty much the rest of the day on the beach, I just cant think of anywhere else I would rather have been...

Had a great time. Hope everyone could enjoy their Memorial Day! Of course I did make a stop at the fallen soldiers memorial to pay my respects, too.

FBC - Very cool knife! Looks like 1960's vintage, I am a fan of anything like that!

Xander - Nice! You live in a really cool spot, reminds me of here a little bit. 2 hours or so to the beach is awesome!

My wife is going to Corpus Christi, TX here soon, I really want to go to the beach. That and 2 of my favorite knifemakers live right there!

Morning men, and sasquatches. Gonna be a hectic day at work today, had a big shipment yesterday get delayed to today and am receiving a big shipment today already. Going to be packed in my warehouse, and busy as can be! Good thing I have my favorite (unofficial, and off the record) employee working with me this morning, its nice when I don't have to worry about her job or anything oher than what I need to do. Wish I had more employees like her.

I can be to a beach in less time, but this place is so much nicer and not much further time wise
. I've been told that the Altamont hills look like many different places before, but in March these hills are bright green and everything is in bloom, it is just spectacular to see! I haven't seen many places that can compare to this when in bloom, but for the other 10 months of the year they are brown and kinda dreary looking, unless you look real close.

Geologically it is a very interesting place and many fault lines run under these hills, tectonic subduction gave birth to these hills and its peak on Mt. Diablo, just north of the pictures location. Lot of red clay covering the tops of the hills, but there are a few outcroppings of rock and some slides that revealed some cool stuff.
