Morning guys!

I'm running to the airport in a minute, Sara and Jade are going to visit my parents in Texas. I'm going to be making knives like crazy all week!

I think I got the 5160 choppers too sharp, lol I cut myself yesterday and it is still bleeding. Never even hurt...

Speaking of that everything is really close to being done!
 
Maybe you have scurvy?! Still bleeding aftr a day, or maybe your blood is too thin. Sounds all like symptoms of being a Pirate!

A week of grinding, should I send the case of redbull overnight? Have you set up a cot in the shop yet?!

I hear you on the cut... yarrrgggh!!! I cut myself three times and only that one was like that, it was a pretty deep cut. I think I must of somehow split it open, it's about 5% humidity here so that can happen. Maybe it was the generic wd40 I was using right after that, lol!

Send the red bull! lol cot on the way!!

Thanks! No kidding on the knives! They were scanning everything, including checked baggage. Flying is now a royal pain.

Luckily they didn't know that my entire body is a weapon! :D like Chuck Norris! :p

Very soon! I was shaving hair with it yesterday! :D



I have been on the phone with my wife half the day, first there were all sorts of crazy delays and problems, now she is being held in a security area with no access to food and has been stuck there for hours. She is also going to miss her flight to Corpus. The computers were down because of a power outage here at the airport so she can't leave the high security area because she has a hand written ticket. She couldn't even call me at first and they seized her hand written papers like phone numbers for security reasons. She is in San Angelo because DFW is shut down, what they don't call ahead about the weather or something, lol it is a 2 hour flight.

I'm pissed! My wife should not suffer because of other idiots.
 
That is one of the reasons I never plan to fly again!My son went through all types of crap when he flew to New Hampshire a while back.Seems the whole airlines are all screwed up and everything is for security reasons.Hope things get worked out for her soon. Having a baby and not being able to eat puts a lot of strain on her both mentally and physically!
 
Progress pic of the mini...

Still have lots of handle shaping to do, its way out of proportion for scale right now but much closer to shape. Thinking of possibly doing a butt plate or pommel as well. Thoughts?

daniel, that sucks.. I hate flying too since the Bush admin. decided we all have no rights. Of course, why would he care being a huge oil family and personal friends with half the Arab nation. Sure I'm sounding arrogant, but the Bush admin/family is a POS that F'd this economy up and now Obama is being blamed for all that crap. Obama in 2012 or death. I can't believe all the crap he's getting and how Bush f'd the nation up for 8yrs. The majority of our country is retarded..

Obama gets no credit where he deserves it and it's all because people are so BLIND to what is going on and basically due to RELIGION/ABORTION the republicans can't see straight. Might as well be called the FANATICAL CHRISTIAN PARTY. Sure dems. aren't perfect, but WAY BETTER AND EVEN than any Bush idiot. Or Romney, OH MY GOD F" NO.

I got pulled aside in the airport and put through a puff detector at San Fran... totally profiled too.. sorry big, I hate pigs and security gaurds are just pigs in sheeps coat that didn't make the cut. I'm no crack head either. At least I can pass a college entry exam, hold a job down, pay TAXES (that should be higher), and for that matter read between the lines...

more blood for oil. might as well hurry this charade up. I love being a hypocrite :D

D A M N ! Someone really dropped the ball. Take a walk, go split some ore do something to get the aggresion out! Just nothing requiring detail work, it will only aggrevate you worse!

BY the way, I'm making sure she has a room or this gets taken care of somehow. My wife and baby will not stay the night in the airport.
 
OK this is just nuts, we are paying for a room we shouldn't be paying for, my wife has been waiting in the rain for 45 minutes for a shuttle and since the airline has our car seat she can't even carry our baby safely. They gave her a seat on the plane tomorrow that won't allow out baby so she has to show up early to change her seat even though we requested the proper one.

She hasn't eaten since 7:30 am...
 
yeah that's just fuc'd up. My folks have slept in airports before.. but no babies.. are they nazis or just get off on making other people suffer.. I mean, seriously, call them up and bitch them out until they pay you to put here in a hotel room. REAM THE AIRLINE COMPANY< ask for whoever is in charge and then ask for whoever is in charge of them.. don't waste time with airport douches. Airlines are hurting as it is, push them hard NOW GO!

OK Xander that is incredible! The detail... and so small! It looks finished to me! When they are that small any flaw is magnified, outstanding work.

A butt plate would be cool, then again it is looking great as it is. :thumbup::thumbup:
