Wow, I just read my last post, I need to stop posting when at the pub. Enjoying Dog Fish Head IPA, though! Sorry for being all over the place with that last one!

That is a great beer! I have brewed some dog fish head recipes from a book I have by the owner, he knows what's up!

Yep it sure is a good one. I finished off the night with Rochefort 8 and Rochefort 10. A great little Trappist pub opened up only about 4 blocks from my house, which brings the total up to 6 bars within stumbling distance (half mile).

Man that sounds fun. If it was like the Caribbean I would set up a local Rum Shack style bar and chill there when I felt like opening it. I miss neighborhood stuff, it was cool how the lack of liquor laws there really cut down on drunk driving and led to a more community type of feeling even in the country.

I just got in from grinding! It has been a productive last couple of days.

I've been working on all kinds of requests and orders, I have a new big knife design that is just killer and another one that is the most massive beast chopper ever...

The OG Chopper! 19" of total chopping insanity!

More Ti stuff coming also!

Yep, sucks I have to get breakfast at the drive through this morning. Stuck in line now actually. Had to take my F.I.L. to the hospital at 0530 hours today for surgery.

Maybe ill get out on the bike today...keep my mind clear.

That sucks, I hope your day goes well and your father in law does well.

What kind of biking? I used to skate a lot but haven't much in the last 2 years... need to get out more!

I have to take care of some other business so I haven't made it into the shop for 2 days now... can't wait to get done. I want to grind! :D

I may be able to expand my shop though which would be great!

Thanks, he is doing fine. They had to Roto-Rooter the arteries in his legs. He gets to come home to the wife and I tonight.

Well any bike with 2 wheels over 20" and has pedals suits me fine! I am (was) a bicycle master mechanic and wheel builder as well as manged a couple of shops over the years. I have thinned down my fleet though. One track bike, one geared road bike, single speed mountain, and a DH bike in progress of being built by me. Wife has a beach cruiser and a custom geared MTB I built for her a few years ago. At one point I had over 20 bikes! I still have several frames lying around. I did figure out a new project, though; modifying the air sprung fork on my SS/MTB for shorter travel. I may start that this weekend.

Expanding your shop! Hey you need an apprentice now! I am willing to relocate...and I work for beer, too! Ok, maybe a fancy Ti piece every one in a while.

Hmmm... I make beer too. Now if I could get someone to make the beer and then take that as pay... hmmmm. yeah I can throw in some titanium too, hee hee. Hired.

I need a cool mountain bike. I have a GT 20" I'd like to rebuild but crap, I'm 35. I'd really like to have one of those burly downhill mountain bikes, you can use the ski lift at the local mountain in the summers and ride down.

Yep, and at $4.99 a bottle a good deal as well. I just got an inside line on some special brew from Sierra Nevada, its called Life and Limb. I may pick up a case, but at about $100+ I just hope I can get one before they sell out. I may trade some that I have had cellared since february of this year, an imperial IPA with whole cone cascade hops less than 24 hours off the vine.

I am a hophead for sure. I need to learn to brew my own.

Wow that would be like $25 a sixer, I bet that is some great beer! I like fresh hop beers, they are nice. I found some wild hops growing here, they are a cool plant.

Brewing is a great hobby, I need to brew up a batch soon, it takes a long day to make brew a batch but it is well worth the effort, I just need to find the time. I like designing beers and making them, it is fun to see how they come out.

WooHoo! The baby monitor works all the way out in the shop! I got new grinding hours!

Yeah $25 a 1/4 rack is about right I guess. It comes in 24oz bottles. I have been known to pay more for beer, though. Lately with the new pub down the street I have been trying some more Trappist beers and Trappist style beers. Chimay and Rochefort 8 are two of my favorites, but they have a decent selection to keep me busy for a while.

I know of a local brewers club here, but they are church based...not really my thing...maybe ill talk to a few outside of a meeting to get a basic set up. I already have plenty of bottles.
