Glad you are back up and running. Welcome back. Sorry you had to endure BestBuy :barf: to make it so. I just returned a pos electronic today. :grumpy: Frustrating.

If you need a computer that "just works" take a look at Lenovo. And with their aluminium chassis they are nigh impossible to break. They tend not to be the fastest or most powerful laptops out there but they do work very well for their price. I can't comment on the amount of bloatware as I don't use windows much... Ubuntu ftw!

BigCountry, I sure hope to see some pics of your deer and blades in the woods this season o'l buddy!
 
Riverwarrior will do. I use to take pics of all of my deer until my wife got pissed that my deer pics covered one whole wall.Now she says she only wants to hang pics of big bucks....lol knowing I am a meat hunter.going down state at the end of the month to hunt corn fed deer.trying to get my mom one and my handicap brother and his wife a couple to make them through the year. Not much money to spend on quality meat on SSI.That is why me and my brother try to fill their freezer.But my other brother had a construction accident in February where they dropped 200 pound metal truss two stories onto his head.Now he has a TBI and needs 18,000 worth of dental work all because the company did not follow proper procedure!
 
Morning y'all. I am getting a nasty cold, must of picked it up at my sons daycare. Been popping dayquil capsules like crazy. If you ae into altering your mindstate, check out Target brand night time cold and flu capsules, they make me act and feel retarded! Crazy stuff! Like being a goofy drunk!

Morning men... I'm back in the shop today and should be finally getting my drill!

Xander sorry to hear you are sick, I hate getting sick. I have been fighting off something for a while now here, the crazy temperature swings this time of the year get to me. Yesterday morning it was freezing outside at my place and by afternoon in the 90's out in the desert.

Riverwarrior, pics soon! My current orders are split into 2 batches so it should be order time here for a while! :D

Bigcountry, I hope you get a ton of food! I hope your brother gets taken care of properly, I once had about 500 pounds of whiskey barrels get knocked on me at work, crushed my hand and they were total jerks about it...

Good so far, thanx. Its pretty chill, not to up-tight. I'm working retail as a manager and training at a big store right now then I will transfer over to a store that is about 1 mile from my house. I hate retail, and I hate dealing with the public even more, but right now its going to put food on the table and keep a roof over my head. I'm not too proud to take any job right now. 40hrs/wk and benefits is huge for me! Oh, and don't worry guys, its not BestBuy. Its a local pet store chain.

Cool you got a full time job, nice it is near as well. My driveway is longer than that, lol.

It is tough making it these days...
 
The drill is here! I thought they were exaggerating on the weight but nope, that sucker weighs almost 160 pounds! It looks like one bad mofo!

It's gonna be cool!

Any longer and I would have started getting backed up with knives to drill. My small drill press runs at too high a speed for tool steel and anything 1/4" wide or deep and over was near impossible. I used to go through a 5$ bit for every other knife with it... on my slower drill that broke they last forever it seems. This one runs even slower so it will just plow through big stuff!

Well I have the drill but it is missing a part, wtf! Grizzly is rushing it out to me but damn... people need to get their act together.

I decided to spend the day hand sanding and just got done, 8 hours and about 40 pieces of sandpaper... well worth it! :D
 
WhenTF are you gonna catch a break??? If it isn't one thing it's another! Stuff like that makes me pop open a few breakfast stouts...for breakfast too!!

At least you still got in a productive day.
