Wasn't it already over a week late too? Whatever they forgot to install, have them send two so you have a replacement. Your month has started a bit rough. I'll open a beer and toast to it getting better.

I hear you guys, this crap is crazy! I thought Grizzly would have been more on it. I'm missing a worm gear on the table, maybe I can rig up a table and get to drilling. The drill does look good, it won't even fit on my workbench, lol the head unit on it must be 3 feet long! Very cool!

I was also on the phone with Jantz trying to get my last order straight... I'm starting to get really tired of them.

No worries though, I always have something I can do in the shop, it was a productive day today.

productive.. yes.. I will join crewbot and be productive in finishing another brew :)

btw what knives are up for grabs and which are soon to be up for grabs :) and uhm yeah stuff :D

Hey Daniel, what size drill bits do you use? Sometimes various drill bits and end mills "follow" me
home from work.

Man all this talk of drinkin beer and working in the shop sure is gettin to me...all stuffed up and can't taste a damn thing, and I have been working 12-9 now so I dont get any shop time. I just need to get done with training and over to the other store so I can get a set schedule. I'm hurtin tonight, I had to restock and reorganize the receiving area with all the 30,35,38,40,44,and 50 pound bags of dog food. 10 pallets worth all by hand.

Daniel, re: the email I sent you. Check out Myerchin for the industry standard knife. It works fine, but it needs some real refinement. I think your just the guy to do it. If you want more info let me know and I can get you all the info you want.

Hey cool! I use a lot of F bits, some P, an occasional W, 1/4", 1/8", all kinds of random ones for drilling out handles. I'll pay the shipping!

I'll see what I can find laying around, should be able to send a few your way in a couple
of days or so. I have to work Saturday, so I might end up with a few strays, lol.

Morning men.Today is my oldest daughters 29th birthday. I am 44 so do the math my wife is 42.We have been together through thick and thin. We got some rough times coming up but after 6 months everything should be a lot better. I had a spinal surgery in May that did not go good so the department is trying to push me into a medical retirement. Glad I have my finances in order or I would be super "F"I have been off work almost 6 months.I can still draw my bow and shoot my handgun just have to have someone else to drag the deer. Hope you guys have a great Thursday!

Geeze Big, I applaud you and your wife for stickin together. It's not too often you hear of such things anymore. Much respect, dude!

Don't overdue the back, its the only one you get, don't want you to end up in a chair. But hey maybe you can star in superman 4 if you do! (I know, bad Chris Reeve joke)

Enjoying a nice clear morning here, 65*, still air, the smell of fresh cut grass as the landscapers work here at the sailing club, and a cup of Costa Rican coffee. Not much to complain about!

Just saw a couple of friends of mine pull out of the harbour headed for the coast for a month maybe two. Damn I can't wait to retire!

You aren't playing! Dog food can wear you out, we used to have to load tons of it into our kennel when I was growing up. We used to feed 100 greyhounds a day, the adults eat 4# of food a day! They are cool dogs... I hope the job is going well.

I was looking at the Myerchin last night... this is going to be a cool project.

Get well, that is tough to deal with.

Pics today I hope... I owe you guys!

I hope they don't run you around too much, they need to take good care of you!

My mom has crazy health problems, she has MS, had a major stroke last year, breast cancer the year before and yesterday they found an "artifact" between her heart and lungs. Bad week here. I feel for anyone dealing with health problems.

Thanks Dan, Everything seems to have went down hill since I had knee replacement surgery in 2010. At least that was service connected and they rate me at 60% disabled just for my knee. I have to go to a couple more appointments because they are trying to get me an increase. It will be hard if I have to retire from work just because I loved my job especially being a team leader for our Emergency Response Team. No ruish like that of chasing an escaped convict through the big timber up here.We only had one but we tracked him down and apprehended him!

Mike,

Dang brother, we have a lot in common. I just turned 46 last week, my back, neck, and shoulders are all messed up to where I cannot hunt with a bow anymore, but my trigger finger is in fine shape...:D

Also, I worked 8 years for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. On a side note, I worked all 8 years with a fellow named Gary Quesenberry. He is one of the contestants on "TOP SHOT" this season (on the History Channel).

Everybody take care and stay well.
Marc

The drill press is up and running! Holes drilled, pics soon!

A few years back I was at my parents place out in the country. I was walking a fence line to go clear a trail through some briars and had a Police helicopter just about land on my head. They got close enough for eye contact and turned some device on a turret at me (flir camera?) then took off. It was just about the scariest thing I have ever encountered, I thought I was going to get shot or something... turns out a prisoner had broken out of a nearby prison and he had passed through a nearby property line, lol they thought it was me for a second!

By the way, the drill press is bad ass. :D

Marc I have been rooting for Gary since the show started. Was glad to see Jake quit.He was a poor sport. How he ever got to be a seal is a miracle with his attitude. I have a good friend that was a seal and he is one of the most humble guy's you would ever meet. On the back note I ruptured a disk a L5,S1 that was crushing my sciatic nerve. I still have numbness in my right foot and leg that they say may be permanent. The worst feeling in the world is having a doctor tell you there is nothing more they can do for you and this is the best it will ever get.

Dan glad the drill press is working great! I am dieing to see what you came up with for my special .36 special! I just know it is going to be bad ass!!!!!
