I need to get some pics up but I'll have a glow wrap kiridashi and a kiridashi with a choil up for sale soon, $85 each with a necker sheath, that includes shipping. They were both for orders but I haven't been able to contact the prospective owners for a while now. I'll be doing a kiridashi run here in a while as well.
 
Evening men.Off to Marquette to see my daughter tomorrow. She needs some things picked up for her.I am so proud of her.Her first semester in college and she is going to make the Deans list.I told her to work hard and she is.She realizes 4 years of hard work will open a lot of doors for a sucssesfull carrer.I am watching all these new ideals you have coming out of your shop and I a very excited about a lot of the designs.I told my wife the bigcountry survival knife was the last knife I would order but these EDC's and that bushcrafter,dam I need more money. Right now I am going through the fighting part of trying to get a medical retirement.No doctors will clear me to return to work with my spine in the shape it is.So through LTD starting the 15th they are going to charge me $830 every 15 days for Blue Cross/Blue Shield and I am going for a duty disability and that will take at least 6 months. so my buying will be on hold for a while.That is alright I have my dream knife right now from Daniel so I am happy.Sorry for the rant.

I was waiting for them to come in stock so it was nice to see them for cheap, everything is seasonal here. It's going to be nice!

Your daughter must be working hard, a good reason to be very proud! Be careful though, I was on the Dean's list a few times and look where it got me!!! :D

I just finished the sheaths for a few knives! Ti Backpacker with scales/opener, a black grey edc proto and the black/red tanto in 1/16" O1.
 
Mike, congrats on the your daughter's grades.:thumbup: I know your a proud Dad!! I pray all goes well with the disability paperwork. Keep us posted.

Daniel, your coming up with some ass kickin' ideas! I can't wait for my first DFK to arrive shortly, and then I'll have to order something else....maybe a "BigCountry" style of blade...:D

Thanks men I will keep you posted.Like you said a lot of paper work B.S and then the log waits.I talked to the Warden and told him straight up that there was no dctor that would clear me to work with the way my spine is screwed up. Hopefully it all goes smooth.
 
Mike I hope it all turns out well. You deserve it.

Guys sorry I don't have any photos but I'll get something together soon, I haven't had the best luck with photos lately. I have a few finishing touches to do before everything is 100% but they are looking good and very close.

I started grinding the edc proto run again today and have them about halfways finished up! (lol post heat treat grinding wise) They are really going to rock.

I also got to work on my legal edc proto and it is just nasty. The hollow grind is even thinner behind the bevel so once it starts to cut it feels like there is no friction behind the edge. :eek:
 
Morning men.Daniel sounds like things are moving forward at a rapid rate. What I like is you get an ideal in your mind and you are hell bent to get it done asap.

I'm on it just about 7 days a week and hope to keep speeding things up. I was working on my 6 knife batch and it is really working well that way, I think quality will go up even more. The sixth one was better than the first so I ground the first some more... they look damn good.

Well we talked our daughter into playing hookie tomorrow and brought her home tonight instad of having her drive home tomorrow alone.Gander Mountain pissed me off put a flyer out with an H & R super slugster at a good price and they do not carry them up here because it is a rifle zone. I was wanting one for going down to my brothers and making 150 yard shots.
 
Too bad your on the other side of the pond Bigcountry, I have 2 GM stores about 20 minutes away. Always better to have the kid home early instead of driving alone
 
Goobie my son is down in the Detroit area at my mother in laws so I may have him pick me up one. My brother in law has had one in 20 gauge for a long time and loves his. I have an Ultra Hunter single shot in 308 and it is a tack driver.Trying to decide if I want to splurge before shit gets tight.Well it will be alright we have a rainy day fund because when we were first married we were dirt poor for the first 7 years and we learned what that dosent kill you makes you stronger.Back then I would work 3 jobs and momma worked 2 just to get payed and have less tan $50 for food and gas for 2 weeks.Thank god for venison and no name mac and cheese.
 
Morning guys! I am getting more knives delivered today and then we are going to the doctor. I'm going to see if I can get some work done too!

I've been playing phone tag with the electrician trying to get a quote on wiring my shop, I hope it isn't too outrageous!
