Hey good morning guys!

I feel things are going really well, the new shop is very close and I hope to get my production back up to normal soon! I have been doing wraps/sheaths lately and will have a few more knives ready soon! :D

I hope things are going well for you DanCo! How's the knifemaking going?

It's going great. I have to spend the day hand sanding today. I hate doing that but the look when done is just too nice. Shipping 2 out on Mon. Then I will finish up the other 2 on the bench and post for sale in the exchange later next week. I just hope I can achieve success like you next year. But man I am just loving it.

Very nice! Hand sanding is exhausting but rewarding. Good deal you have some shipping out and some to sell soon! I know you will rock it!

Afternoon men.Down here in the metropolis.Dam do I hate it!
Get home soon!

Cities make me fret.

Who was it that said, "Last man out, bring the American flag?"

No,wait...they were talking about Miami.

Yeah big cities aren't my thing either, I like the conveniences but not as much as I hate the traffic!

Traffic sucks. The 45 mile drive to work is bad enough, no way I could deal with city traffic everyday.

evening men.One more day then heading North wednesday morning. Not soon enough.Today I was on the freeway in Detroit at rush hour. They can have their cities.I will keep the woods and cold and snow.Like Hank JR sings a Country Boy can Survive!

Morning guys...

I'm about to mold up some kydex and hopefully heat treat some blades. I'm also waiting for the electrician to call me back, I hope to get the electric done soon, excited about the new shop! :D

Things are going well with the shop, I talked to the electrician this morning and he'll be out in the next few days.

Those guys better help you out! We're thinking of you, hoping for the best... you deserve it!

Axxidentally LMAO! It pretty much took me out for a day but the swelling is down and it looks like it will heal. I really should have gotten stitches, it wasn't pretty. It looked like an eye ball... the swelling opened the cut about 1/2" wide so at first it was pretty bad! It would have made a great gory internet pic but that's ok... don't want to look at it!

damn dude. Good thing it wasnt the Havok that got ya. You'd need an eye patch to go with the peg leg, and say "Arrrr" a lot. Glad you are getting better.

LMAO that makes my day!!! Yarrrrgghhhh!

I'm very glad it wasn't the Havok! I was careful just walking with it.

My machete is zero ground and full of notches from hitting quartz in my yard, kind of nasty!

I drank this and felt way better... kept the garnish for later.

2" tall blade - compact skinner

Damn!! Now that's some garnish I can live with, lol. Any more pics of the "garnish"?

Thanks! I'll get some more soon. It's 5160 steel, I have it soaking in vinegar to remove the scale. It's funny the scale will destroy a new ceramic belt but an overnight soak will eat most of it away.

I tried the paper in my heat treat envelopes like you mentioned, can't wait to see what they look like!
