Well you guys got me beat, my boy is sick with a lung infection, fluid in his ear and he has ringworm as well. He was up about 5-6 times last night and I didn't get much sleep. I don't work til 12 today so I can get a little rest before work, hopefully.

Thanx guys! He's a tough little bugger. The infection doesn't bother him too bad duing the day, but when he lays down he starts coughing like mad. Finally got him not scared of the nebulizer so he will use it. I just hope he gets better quick,I need someone to wrestle with!

Well we had to help our daughter get all of her stuff back to school. They had a month break between semesters. Went to Gander Mountain. I found on clerance a Bushnell XLT with Butler Creek flip up scope covers, rings and bases, a sling, shooting sticks and a Bone Collector hat.I love after season clerances I got this whole package for about half the price of just the scope!

That sounds like a great weekend! Nice score on the scope and everything!

I only own one gun, a vintage Savage .22/.410 over under! I need more!!! :D

Good morning. It has taken me 26 years of marriage and a good job to finally have 2 gun safes full of guns and knives. I keep saying I am done with handguns but something always grabs my interest.I have hand guns in 22lr, 22 mag,357 mag,2 glocks in 40 cal,2 Super black hawks in 44 mag,Springfield 1911 45 and a Ruger Super redhawk in 454 Casull. So it is like war when I even mention getting a new gun or knife. My wife gets all pissed and tells me I am just greedy.I am not even going to go into my rifles and shotguns.Daniel where you live you need a good handgun for your shop just for bear protection.

Well my cousin had a savage like yours and it was a great squirrel gun. I would have thought you would have something a little bigger there. My father is a gun collector and my brother and I get all the over flow. It works out to our benefit. I went to a gun show yesterday with the old man, and it looks like I will be getting a Ruger black hawk in .44 mag. He bought a Red Hawk and is giving me the other so mom doesn't notice. I like this arrangement a lot.

Looking forward to the finished shop picks man. Your getting the shop has inspired me to clean and organize mine. It was an absolute disaster area. I will post pics when I am done (if I ever get it done).

Have a good one,
Daniel Combs

 thats like owning one knife, and you know you can't own just one!

Exactly! I grew up shooting guns, I need a few. I always enjoyed shooting the .44 mag, we had a junk car and some railroad ties that I used to really enjoy blasting.

It sounds like a nice collection! Like knives, each one has a great use.

It was a productive day in the shop today! We got about 8" of snow overnight and I got it all removed as well.

I finished the heat treat of the 154cm knives with two 150 minute tempers, they are looking great and ready to grind.

After that I got a lot of grinding done on the CPM3V pocket fighters, they should be ready to heat treat tomorrow morning after a little clean up on the flats.

I'll be getting the red G10 epoxied up to the big S7 chopper tomorrow as well I hope.

Morning y'all, coffee and doughnuts on me guys! Still no rain here since about November. It I dry.

Back to work.

I've got one of those, it was the first gun dad gave me. Great squirrel gun.

Nice! It was my first gun as well, I think I got it for my 14th Birthday. I remember we went hunting and had rabbit stew that night!

Morning men.Daniel we got all of that snow headed this way.Looking like about a foot of snow over the next 3 days!

Morning! I hope you guys don't get hit too hard, we got a ton of snow. I was surprised how much we got, it was unusual because we got so much and the flakes were so small. I saw a small slide when I was snowblowing the road, I can imagine we will have some serious avalanches down the road or even in my canyon.

Mmm donuts...

It seems everyone is having a dry year, my parents had a pond dry up that had never gone dry. I hope we all get some rain later this year to keep everything going. I have a well and depend on it.
