Nice sunny pics! I don't mind the snow much, I just wish I had a belt grinder or something. Got an itch to do stuff to some of my knives.

Hey guys! Good afternoon!

I've been backing up the computer half the day... it wouldn't turn on last night or this morning. I'm glad it is on now but I am not sure about it...

Awesome pics guys!

Gooeytek that is a lot of snow! We have gotten about 16" here... keeping me busy I'll say that.

Xander nice pics!

Xander that is just mean!haha
Daniel, check your power supply . good luck!
All you snow bound folks stay warm.
have a good one.

Thanks Kevin. I think it has something to do with hibernation mode screwing things up, not sure but it did run out of battery power on accident while hibernating and I think that could be it. I hope!

I just opened a Dogfish 90 minute Imperial IPA...

Mmm, Dogfish is incredible stuff! One of my favorites!

Kevin, I make no apologies for basking in the California sun! I just hate paying the taxes on it, lol! I am not a cold weather person.

Also, Daniel, I don't know how much computer advice you should take from Kevin, his last computer crash involved dropping a box of punch cards! :D

Congratulations on the Knifemaker status! Really cool...

I was going out early to the shop and my door is frozen shut. lmao I could get out but last time I broke the coat rack that way. :D

I'm going to pick up my regulator and moisture collector for the compressor along with the other gear to hook it up. If I get out, lol!

I have two orders I am finishing up and then four more right behind those... waiting on some more bits for the folder and I'll get back on it!

Grrr, I think whatever was wrong with your computer is contagious! The RGB balance of the screen on my phone is all outta whack, its going out. This will be the second monitor for this phone. Good thing is that I just sync'd all my info to google and also backed up to my SD card. Its kinda cool looking, but annoying at the same time.

Check out what I got for my birthday...

It was my late Grandfathers service pistol. His initials are still scratched into the bottom of the frame and the grips. It is the S&W 4" 38spl M&P model. My grandfather was a sherrif back in the 50's here is town. This is the same grandfather that I share a name with. I also have many of his personal affects, he and I were pretty close growing up. I thought it was nice of my mom to give this to me.

Evening gents.

Well, today was a thorough waste of a gorgeous day, and my day off. I had mentioned my phone acting up, so I headed out to the service center and spent 3 hours wandering around, walking, eating, kicking rocks, whistling at pretty girls, all the while waiting for my phone. Turns out the manager didn't even know when a master tech was supposed to be coming in today! He showed up 2 hours after I got there, right as I walked back in to see if it was done.

So I went and enjoyed a good Rueben and two pints of Sierra Nevada served by a very good looking waitress. Hell, the food may have been crap, but I sure didn't care as long as she kept waiting on me!

Daniel, I have not shot that gun yet, myself. My dad did do some test firing with it after servicing it a couple years ago. I did pick up some shot shells for it though for home defense. I also have some LEO defense rounds, but those are not going to be loaded up all the time, only when camping or if I'm doing a boat delivery alone on a busy weekend.

Have a good night y'all!

Afternoon.

Well BFC seems to be working for the time being, have been having issues loading lately.

Happy Valentines Day to all who have someone to spend it with and to those who dont, be happy you don't have to $pend! :p

Got myself a birthday present today...

Nikon D200 D-SLR. Bought it used from a local pro photog I have known for 20 years. She had it as her personal/portrait camera since new and it was rebuilt with a new shutter 8-9 months ago so it has less than 500 actuations on it. Like buying a car with a zero mile motor. The rest of the equipment is mine from my film kit and it all works with the digital body, big bonus! I'm stoked! Working til late tonight so don't know ifi will be able to play around with it.

Niiiiice! That is classic, too cool! I bet you get some cool pics with that! Excellent score

BF was down all day here too, I'm glad it is back up!

I worked on the compressor all day again today, lol just one more trip to the hardware store and I am done! (I may have said that already) I have a compressor system that is serious now... air lines, 240 lines, heck even data lines r2d2 styleee!

Well, the snow has been slowly melting despite the additional dusting we got last night. Supposed to get more this weekend too. That doesn't stop me from grilling outside though :)

Filet mignon with a Cajun-coffee rub:

Yeah, I'm stoked to finally have a good digital camera, even if it is an older professional model. I have been frustrated with the poor quality pics in low light by my point and shoot digital due to the small optics. This should really help. Also, having a camera reproduce a scene how I see it will be sweet, I hate post processing. It will also use older full manual lenses easily, the pro I bought it from said she had some 40 years old that worked well!

Just wait until I get some free time, this thing is going to get a work out!

You rock! That looks incredible... the whole filet too! very nice!

I have never tried Yuengling but am always on the look out for it here, I hear it is great beer. That is probably why it is good, you can't get it everywhere!

coffee rubbed.... mmmm

That rocks and the fact that it will use the older lenses it the best.

I somehow have 6000+ photos on my cheapie digital, it is rickity but still going! My next shop tool should be a new camera...
