Well, this beer is something I'm not entirely sure about. It pours with little or no head, a nice brown amber color, lacking any aroma of hopps, but is strong smelling. Tastes of toffey, alcohol and fermented fruits. Piss-poor version of a barley wine, but surprisingly enjoyable as a beer. Great "cheap buzz" type of beer with 15% ABV and coming in at $3.49 on my local liquor store shelf. Has a familiar palette, reminds me of Newcastle brown ale, but different.

Now to crack open a SN Torpedo!

Enjoy! I need a beer, lol. Mail day. I'm about to paypal you $3.49 by the way! lol

That is pretty good for a 15% beer, the fruity flavor might be fermented sugar. I am way into Belgian brewing and they use a lot of sugar but otherwise it is pretty uncommon. (besides malt liquor!) Sugar gives a clean yet fruity taste... funny enough the more sugar before fermentation the dryer the product.

Just apple juice with some corn sugar tastes like champagne when fermented and aged well! Google Ed Wort's Apfelwine, it rocks!

Well I apologize for being MIA for so long.Been dealing with spinal issues still.Looking like I have to have a spinal fushion by the VA hospital in Milwaukee,WI.I missed chating with you men.

Anybody ever check out kickstarter?

I'm seriously considering putting my keychain tools there for a funding run. I want to make a bunch of them!

If you go Kickstarter, with the right networking and promotion, you could easily presell 1000 or more at your current pricing. It takes a good bit of thought to run an effective campaign but those who do definitely get results.

Great to see you here BigCountry! I was just wondering how you were doing funny enough.

We wish you all the best with everything and will be thinking of you!

That is good to hear, I think I can do it! I'm getting a few emails a day on them...Thanks Matt!

Hey I never turn down anyone wanting to buy me a beer, lol! I don't think I will be buying that one again soon. It felt great to buzzed like I killed a six pack but no bloating, having to go to the bathroom, all that getting up to get another beer, all from one bottle of halfway good beer!

Kevin, does Jen know your stone washing her stuff now too?

Big, hey brotha! Hang tough dude, sending up smoke and hope for ya!

Evening gents!

Well heading downstate today.Gotta look for a vehicle for my daughter. Her fiance totaled my Jeep liberty that I gave her. I head over to Iron Mountain on Wednesday for a bone scan. After that they are scheduling my spinal fushion for the first part of May.You guy's have a great weekend!!!!

Yyyaaaaaaaawwwwwwnnnnnnnnn.......

Ugh, terrible night. Zyler is going thrugh a growth spurt right now so he's eating like crazy and gave himself a stomach ache last night. I think he had a banana, hot dog, tater tots, pop tart, pork chop, pasta and a bowl of goldfish crackers. Its no wonder he had a tummy ache!

Off to work now.

Yeah BigCountry, I hope it is a good weekend! Good to see you here!

I hear you Xander, I barely sleep anymore and I am a person that needs my sleep, lol!

Jade is an eating machine! She will ask to go to the kitchen and pick out food, she eats about half a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast now... not sure how it is even possible! Her new thing is Cheerios, she wants to get a bunch and stash them everywhere in containers. She will go to her toys, pick out some cups, fill them up and hide one, eat one and give one to the cat! she calls the cat over... meow! lmao I can't believe she just turned one

By the way, if any of you would like to make some extra cash, I can offer you a part-time job for $25 per hour. It's not hard and you may even find it fun. It involves speaking in English over Skype with those who need someone to correct their mistakes in grammar and pronunciation. Will be paid on a daily basis. If interested, please mail to: removed

^^^ uh oh, you've hit it big time Daniel, spammers are searching your forum now! I reported it already.

Guess I could chime in, as I have spent way too much money backing projects on that site.

Anything gadgets and video games do well there. Anything Titanium, especially pocket tools, seem to be doing quite well on there right now. The craze does seem to be tapering off a little bit, though... since there have been a good amount of them recently. You have good designs, so I'm sure anything you put up there would do just fine. Can't sell knives there (otherwise your credit card knives would probably sell like hotcakes over there), but it would be a good way to get some more attention from people who don't browse these places.

Biggest thing if you're considering it: be reasonable with your estimated completion date. It seems like with a lot of projects, people get completely overwhelmed with the amount of backers, and don't come anywhere close to delivering on time. I'm still waiting on "Rewards" from projects that were supposed to be completed as early as last July. At the very least, be the guy that updates his backers constantly.

Also, if you do it, having a good video and pictures. Nothing kills a potentially good project easier than crappy (or not enough) pictures and a cheesy video that has the editing of a 7th grade English project.

I'd only really make a KS project if you plan on outsourcing some of the production though. Your stuff seems to sell fast enough here, and KS takes I believe 5% of all sales.

Sup,y'all ? A little sore this morning. Nothing like a good road bike crash to remind me I am getting older, not old just old-ER haha.I stone washed that Revlon (I have a hard time calling it a knife) as a joke and threw it on my keys but that little thing has been pretty useful so far.Mostly the bottle opener :D Jen is stealing it back though:(:D
Big,I'll raise a glass to your health.
Have a good one y'all!

Morning y'all!

Hope y'all have a good one!

Thanks a bunch! That really helps a lot. I have been planning this for a while but it seems kickstarter is in the news a lot now, I better get on it before the whole thing has passed. I agree on outsourcing production if I do a run there, if I made 1000 just the mailing would be a full time job for a few weeks. I was thinking that I would need some prototypes in Ti for a video and pics anyways so I'll probably do a small run ASAP. :D

Hey have a good one at the flea market! A mid day appointment is rough, I understand. Score some cool stuff!

I'm making knives today! lol

My half broken camera completely bit the dust and my old backup used every battery in the hose yesterday. I'm REALLY excited to get the new camera.
