Thanks guys! This was was my first time working with lacewood and I like the stuff. Hard but sands nicely, doesn't check or splinter on sharp corners. It will burn when sanding though, so fresh clean belts and a light touch are needed.

Just put 3 more coats of BLO on the handle and ran it through the worksharp. Kind of a cool little sharpener, got it for Christmas. Never was into power sharpening but it's fine for knives that I don't really care about edge geometry. It does a 25° convex edge, works well for the chefs knives and I also used it to put a good edge on my machete.

Either way, I got tired of it just sitting on my bench and I know the wife will be happy to get it back.

Sounds like some dense wood... good for a kitchen knife!

I'm cropping and uploading pics... here's the first one.

2 hours and 18 minutes to do the threads and list the knives... that does not include cropping or photos... upload takes about 30 seconds. :D

Pics up, enjoy!

We are getting hammered here... 2 more inches already this morning! That's fine with me though, more water for the well, the mountain and to cover up this ice! :D My yard was 4" of clear ice, I've never seen anything like it!

lol I have carbon fiber in my mailbox and i really want it! My driveway might be an all day mission right now... lol.

I also have a new blaster pedal coming in, it's a fix/upgrade for my blast cab.

If you guys ever need any sandblasting gear check out Barrel Blaster, the owner rocks! New souped up blast gun incoming!

lol Rolf I own a plow and a blower, a snowcat is next! :D My plow is down this year and it looks like I need it today! We got about a foot last night. I did some snowblowing after a half day in the shop yesterday and made it out to get my carbon fiber. It looks good! :D

I hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week!

Sup fellas.

Beautiful day over here! Having regrets about being at work today, I just want to be outside. Seeded my lawn the other day, now it's time to aerate it as well. Might do that tonight.

Spring is near! The almond tree has bloomed and dropped it's blossoms already too! Looks like a snow storm hit my patio, lol! Gotta tune up both mowers as well, been using my reel mower lately, much more enjoyable for sure. Next is a deep clean of the house. Ugh, too much stuff to do and no fun.

Making is abso-f******-lutely great out here!!!

Keep it real!

I almost feel bad about the weather we are having while you guys are getting hammered with snow..... I will try to talk Xander into going over there and helping you guys dig out.....He loves the snow. :D
Have a killer day y'all.

Send him over Kevin! :D

Rolf I saw your thread on the penny folder and wish I could make it for you. The micarta mills nicely... the main trick will be to square up the micarta very accurately and then make the slot 90 degrees with the pivot.
