I'm down! :D

Once my neighbor and I used a weed burner to defrost the ice and dig holes (frozen ground) for a porch we installed... it was nuts!

yeah... not a lot of fun moving the snow but the ski hill will be rocking! I just need to make it there! :D

Daniel! Do you wanna make the penny, whenever??
no metal bolster either. We'll just use Micarta and pivot screw friction.
shadddup, Xander!!
:D

Hey guys!

Rolf - I'm not really set up to make one up to the standards I want to but one day I will! Some of the machinists here might have the right setup.

I've been showing you guys some ideas on the folders... listen to this! I really want your feedback!

- flipper

- framelock

- bearings

- thick carved or milled Titanium frames and medium thickness slicey/tough blade

- thick carved clip attached with one large screw

- extra large pivot and one large screw... that's it for hardware! No tapped parts or standoffs... just one insert for the single 8-32 screw. High thread count on the pivot for ease of adjustment

- Titanium Backspacer

- dowel pin in backspacer for the tightest folder possible... the pin offers less play or shifting between frames

- 3.25" Blade

- friction folder handle with Backpacker blade! The handle is a bit larger and has slightly different lines than the friction folder but is very close.

I'm hoping to hit $495 as the base price if at all possible. I might be able to do this with a pre-buy or deposits.

OK, Daniel.
DO it!!
Are the bearings really necessary?

Bearings - no, not at all, there is almost no friction with washers done correctly but the bearings would allow me to fit in an internal stop pin the way I want to for the flipper. There are lots of ways to do it but this design is compact and all business.

I have a few large projects going for the year and they are about to come together nicely... but this would be a big project!

I understand if done right bearings allow for crank down fitting no blade play and still ultrasmooth

Driving on the phone so excuse the grammar (Phone dictation)

Rolf, I advise you to listen to my advice. Got it? And no, not milk.

Rolf is now my mentor... this years lineup!

- Tanto! options - red or bright red

- Red Tanto! a bit like model A but more tanto-ey.

Good morning guys!

:D^
Red Ti Tanto.

^ That!

I'm excited about this upcoming 3V tanto run! I have had a bunch of requests for the same model in Ti too so look out.

I'll show you guys the CAD later for the folder design I am working on. It's not there yet on the lines but I have a drawing I'm working from...
