Sup fellers!

Been hanging out at the mother in laws place today. Dyed eggs with little dude, ate pizza and brought my pellet rifle along for some squirrel shooting. Taking a break as the sun goes down, waiting for the rabbits to come out. Got 4 squirrels today, I figured out just how sensitive my spring rifle is to being rested on anything even with proper artillery hold. It was throwing pellets 6" in every direction from being just lightly rested. So, all squirrels were taken standing off hand from 25 to 55 yards.

Just added two rabbits to today's count! 10 yards and ~50 yards! For a bone stock Gamo Shadow with the plastic scope it's earning it's keep! It does need a better trigger, I might do that one of these days if I ever build a spring compressor to pull this thing apart.

I just love airgun hunting!

Not really, ground squirrel and jacks, plus they poison bait out here too, so I dispose of them. Not gonna chance it or leave them for birds of prey or stray dogs either.

Just doing some pest control as they all burrow under the foundations of the outbuilding on my mother in laws and her grandmother's property next door.

Good morning guys!

The Turkeys are out here... I saw 10 of them pass the shop the other day.

Sara just told me the mill has been shipped! I'm going to check out the details! That's fast, it was estimated to ship out on the 24th.

The Great Mill-watch of 2015. Keep us updated!!!

We don't see Turkeys here. When we go to Pittsburgh to visit our friends, though, we see plenty. You can hear them gobbling! They stalk you and wait for your numbers to dwindle. That's when they strike.

lmao! that is true though, I saw that news clip! My buddy had this super mean turkey that attacked us as kids if we tried to get in their backyard.

Back in TX they give you about 400 yards and stay waaayyyy out of shotgun range, lol.

Ahhhhh, Spring!
Good stuff, Daniel!
Our local porcupine was in his favorite tree last night doing some pruning. This tree was in bad shape a few years ago but what ever is going on with this porcupine, the tree looks great!?

That is too awesome! In St.Thomas we had a Guanabana (soursop) tree right off our porch with a few massive iguanas living in the branches. (iguanas are actually a tree dweller) Our old cat would hang out on the porch with them... they communicate with this head bob thing and the cat would do it back to them.

Funkee! ^ Thanks, Daniel!
o, your forge tongs will ship tomorrow. No truck.
Is Ben's folder done? :D

A close friend of mine has a hectare on the beach in Costa Rica, it was really cold one year a few years back, people were going to the ER from large I. IGUANA falling out of the balsa trees on their heads! Imagine walking down a dirt road in rural Costa Rica and a 35# lizard clobbers you on the head from 40 feet up! Not a fun day in my book. He said they captured a couple very large, mature lizards and kept them warm in their house for the cold snap.

Xander that is pretty funny! Smack! In St.T the iguanas were the only thing not to be scared of. That place was completely nuts...

No mill yet but soon! They updated shipping info to the 10th but I bet it will be in tomorrow... last I checked it was in Oklahoma which is pretty close. It's coming in an 18 wheeler.... i hope they brought 18 wheel drive! I think I will meet him and am still figuring out exactly how to get the mill out of my truck into the shop. :D Maybe I'll just get a nice camper. :p

I had forgotten about some former obligations and went shopping today, lol. Jade will have a great Easter! Tomorrow is the last day my weekday pass is valid so I'm going to the mountain... usually everyone gets drunk and dressed up in crazy outfits. I'm just gong to board! After that it's Kwaikens and a big huge folder!

That's right! Would you like a taco with that millwork? :D

I owe you some carbide very soon FBC... should get them out after this weekend. Man they look cool!

Thanks Rolf! That is super cool on the tongs! My inswool and refractory came in today, I'll be forging some W2 and 52100 soon!
