Ben- Let's roadtrip to Co and pay Daniel a visit.
That's one cool bike!
All the Best, Gang!

Home sweet home.
Yeah, we should do a DFK gathering or something. I can see it happen in a near future.
Have a kick@ss day D'fers!

Ill see Dan someday. I have a backwoods discovery map for motorcycles. The route will take me past Dan. I just have to find a year where my wife doesnt plan all my vacation time. LOL

X, you can practically use your home wi fi at work, you are so close!
XxdrpxX, That is a pretty sweet bike.
Check out this awesome old trowing knife that a buddy from work asked me to fix the tip on. His dad picked it up in Germany during the the Vietnam War. I think it is the coolest throwing knife I have ever seen!

That's cool FBC! Marbles style... and almost a smatchet blade!

Xander, hey thanks, I saw that! we were researching but having some connection problems earlier...

My computer keeps doing this delay thing where it takes 5 min to type a sentence so I've been running behind on just about everything. We spent all morning trying to get mailing done...

That bike is killer!

late lunch here and time for some more work! I am out of fresh belts for a day or two and getting caught up on some other knife stuff... my mill was supposed to be in yesterday so I'm waiting... lol no epoxy work will be started today. :D

Badazz messer!!
Daniel- Did that USPS tube get there yet?
I still have my Cycle Pro Bonzai. It's one cool bike!
Have a good One, DFerz.

Yo!

Rolf - I got a pick up notice yesterday so it's on!

I need a bike... will get one eventually. I'm still saving up for that PK Ripper... :D lol I want a mountain bike really...

I heard something on my porch, opened up the door and saw a big huge bear move about as fast as possible. They are quick when they want to be!

I had a PK ripper as a kid. Loved that bike. Im actually going to sell my mountain bike. I have am aluminium niner jet 9 with shimano xo group set. Great double suspension bike, but I just dont use it like I should.

Morning y'all!

Shit, this 930-6 schedule is nice! Coming home for lunch, home in time for a hot dinner, why did I wait so long?! Honestly, my commute is probably shorter and easier than Daniels, lol!

Xx, if that bike wasn't a niner, I'd be interested... I just can't get down with 9ers. Not for my riding style anyways. They are a little more cush and ride like they're on rails, but I prefer faster handling. I'm also selling my downhill frame/fork. It's probably more what Daniel needs, lol! It's an Orbea BoxDH frame with Marzocchi Z1-FR1 (150mm) fork.

Make it great fellas!

Yo!

Last night I got in posted some stuff here and fell right asleep on the couch after about 10 minutes... lol. I was in the shop at 5 am grinding...

Rolf, the tongs have arrived! Talk about cool, tell Roger they are awesome! I'll get some pics for you guys, they are neat.

XxdrpxX those PK Rippers were super cool! I mean rad. :D

No clue here on bikes, I want to eventually get back into riding though.

One thing I am really excited about is doing more collecting and prospecting. Collecting here is really good but there is still new stuff to find which I really find fun... my old buddy found Beryl (aquamarine and emerald are two hem types) at his mine last summer (beryl is not known in this region). I'm not interested in gem collecting so much as finding lapidary material. The people at the Post Office are still glad I switched to knives. :D

Grind on!

Daniel- Cool! I'll tell Roger.
You can see the jaws are unique. Do you know why? I might have to ask Roger. Anyway, can't wait till you use them.
You enjoy life, Daniel! Have fun collecting.
cyl...
yf,

Much appreciated Rolf!

I think the tong shape will allow for a larger object than the tong with to be held within the grip... if that makes sense? They are also sized to hold something around 1/4" stock with the tongs closed which is really nice. You don't want a big open wide grip with the tongs as it will tear your wrist up. Cool stuff!

I'll keep you guys posted if I do any interesting rockhounding... south of here in the desert/badlands it is not too hot yet and the mountains up north are melting off quickly. :D

I think my Nephew is already a rock hound. We were walking the dogs with the little guy ( Sam ) and my wife pointed to a rock and said "oh look that is a pretty rock" Sam looked at it and said " that's quartz. " ........ HE IS 2 !!!
Rock on! .......get it ...... rock ...on?:p
