My pleasure, Daniel. You can custom these tongs, correct.
Kevin is also a rockhead. I see you down there, Ktown.

shoot if i only joined BF a while back when I was working in Golden, Colorado for a couple of weeks. Could have met daniel and checked out more than just denver and the coors factory.

I might be in Montana in the coming months but I'm scared. Coworker told me it's straight boons and I'm a city boy, maybe i'll learn to actually hunt with the crew there :p

Hunting ain't hard, it's actually getting what you're after that is! I'd love to spend some time in Montana, that's real nice area up there.

Ugh, someone please, don't let me drink coffee after dinner...sitting here wide awake o_0

Ebay mobile app linked right to my paypal mobile app, not a good thing always. I've got a new carbon fiber 36" one piece rifle cleaning rod coming my way, because it was a good deal, lol! I really need to slow down on buying gun parts this week, I think I'm approaching $1K already...but don't tell the wife that  New reloading press, more carbon fiber goodies, shiney stainless match grade barrel, magazines, scope mount, etc etc.....

That's right! But they are perfect...

Go hunting! :D I know I want to later on this year.

I have never made it north of Grand Junction or Buena Vista the entire time I have lived here...

Cool on the gun stuff Xander!

Yesterday was mostly mail day... more random stuff today!

I used my fiber press for some black canvas micarta... look out for a video soon. Or just buy one now because it rocks! Clean material...

Morning fellas,
I'm on day 2 of dady daycare. Macoy our 3 month baby girl has RSV.....ugh these kids don't stop getting sick. Everytime she falls asleep I try to sneak down to the garage with the baby monitor to work on some knife stuff and she wakes up in like 5 minutes...lol she is won't hardly let me put her down.

Morning...

Looks like I just bought an 80% lower receiver too...:D

Make it fantastically great fellas, it's Friday!

Hang in there Justin! I'm watching the kids right now too. Mine had all of the symptoms of RSV but after a test came up negative we are not sure... sure are congested like crazy still and not sleeping. I feel for you!

Cool stuff Xander, what kind of gun! AR15 I bet!

Have a good one Rolf!

Thanks Bobby! Look out for a few product reviews soon. I'm going to show you guys how to build a low budget forge too.

Yeah, an 80% AR15 lower receiver. Gotta get the jigs to finish machining it out. Making a "Ghost Gun" lol! This one will be for the .20 Practical upper I've been buying parts for all week. It's gonna be an expensive gun... so far I'm at about $1100 on just the upper half

Time to get the boy to school.

Sounds cool X! You need a mini CNC next... :D

Yo BLK! I hope you have a good one!

I finally found a good deal on a nice tapmatic! Most importantly it is exactly what I need... will fit on a dedicated drill press. I messed up my last one trying to remove the arbor and have had a chuckless press sitting on my bench since! New folders are back on!

Back at ya D hope your kids get well. Same here congested, having to use the suction bulb constantly.
Looking forward to the forge build.

No need for a mill, it's just 7075 aluminum. They make jigs for using a router, they work very well too! Otherwise the jigs are for an x-y vise and drill press, or mill. A router cuts through Al like nothing as long as you keep the cut depth in check.

Now to get the end mills I need, already have the drill bits.

Time for work! For once, it's actually MY Friday too!!!

Yep... Friday and my week is just starting. :( I shouldn't complain though, I do work at a place with all kinds of cool outdoor toys.
Daniel, I heard that we are getting some MTB bikes that are geared toward hunting. They might be just what you are looking for. If you can pack a buck out with one, I bet you could pack a box of knife making supplies up the road to Casa de Fairly. :D
Justin, hope the kid kicks the sickness soon!
Y'all have a killer weekend!

^ Will do! I just got in from breaking down the crate and have decided to buy an inexpensive hoist tomorrow! This thing is heavy! It looks incredibly good! I'm excited beyond words.

I was coming back from picking up the mill (had to meet the driver in town) and saw a Harbour Freight add... thought what the heck we don't get ads in our local paper... but it was for a new store near me!!! I am super excited about this too and going to get the hoist tomorrow! I will build a quick wooden gantry to lift the mill... I though I could figure out an easier way but it looks tricky.

My $30 forge is almost complete... video soon! That is the cost of the forge body and for $100 total you can build a forge, buy a burner and regulator from Atlas Knife Co and be set up! :) It is built from sheet metal and 1 foot of 1" inswool. I'm waiting for the second coat of refractory to cure but have fired it up and it is bad!!! I can get 3/8" rebar red hot in less than a minute on the lowest setting and that was before finished. The Atlas Burner and regulator I am using is just super cool and comes highly recommended... took about 30 seconds to hook up and is completely plug and play. The forge gets cranking hot in no time and that is with one coat of Satanite and no ITC-100. I built this forge to give back to the community and to get people into forging... will have lots of info soon.
