Sounds like you had a very productive day, X!

I was busy with my Dad went few places did some shopping for my Mom and it was very HOT today!! I'm sure it's over 100 degree.

Took out my telescope just earlier looking at the moon, it's beautiful! I was trying to capture some nice pics but it moves really fast...yeah, no kidding!

Getting late I'm gonna go watch some TV or maybe clean my knives!:D

Afternoon fellas and happy Father's Day to Daniel and all the rest of ya!

Went to the flea market this morning, scored a very clean Zebco 33 fishing reel, an older model too, picked up a couple 18650 batteries and a charger for my flashlights, the boy got some toys too. After that went to the farmers market, grabbed some goodies for the house, then went home and worked on my AR a bit, hoping I've got my short stroking issue resolved now. It should be.

Since great grandma passed, the family has been finding cameras from just about every decade since the 40's and saving them for me! A Brownie 620 box camera, a Kodak Vigilant folding field camera, a Poloroid One Shot SX-70 (with the rainbow stripe too!), and a Minolta Freedom 200 auto point and shoot. Funny, the Minolta still had film in it and the batteries still had juice, didn't realize it until little dude fired it off! Took one more frame and it auto-wound back to zero! I'm going to develop it just to see what's on there!

Been a good day so far, just got to my mother in laws, she's barbecuing and catering to all us dad's in the family today, I'll take it for sure!

Make it great!!!

Sounds like a good day, Xander! I hope everyone else had a great father's day/weekend.

I got to spend some quality time with my son - which is nice. He drew me a cute card this morning. Took him to the flying field and let him steer one of the quadcopters for a bit. He actually did really well. His wasn't attacked by bees at least, unlike mine the day before.

Bees!

Ready to tackle a new week!

Morning fellas!

It's Monday once again. This is going to be a busy day for me, been training a new cutter at work and he's not quite up to speed so we have a good sized backlog.

Make it great guys!

Oh, more new toys too, found an old Marlin - Glenfield model 60 squirrel stock .22 rifle in great grandma's closet, they gave it to me! These are totally fun and stupid cheap little guns, reliable too. Gonna be my new rat rifle!

Good morning. Hope everyone had a great Father's Day. Also, Liamstrain I have a first generation drone quad and it's awesome. Haven't run into a swarm of bees but it is fun to use. Daniel the WIP you are posting on the Mega is insane. I love everything about it and that is going to be a tank! Look forward to more information and pics on the progress.

Hi Lycosa. I'm not in line on his new folder yet. Daniel just sent me my first friction folder, which is awesome. Recently, I had picked up this friction folder, a Gavko Ferko and a new Shiro F3 that will be delivered tomorrow. So, funds need to be replenished at the moment. Lol. I'm selling a few things and then hopefully I can look into one of the folders. They look awesome thus far.

Thanks,
Donnie

Donnie- This^ makes good sense.
I'm glad I waited, or was broke, because I love Daniel's new kwkn folder design a lot!

Yes sir! Ever since I joined this forum, certain makers have really stood out to me. I'm still finding / honing my personal tastes and Daniels work is just very appealing to me, in several ways. Not only the artistic side but the functionality of the knives he makes, makes perfect sense to me. I have been able to get several pieces from knife makers, that are members here and each knife....has its own personality. I don't have "safe queens" because I love to carry and show what I have to friends and other people I come across. Unfortunately, my wants sometimes overpowers my common sense and then my better half chimes in and is like.......have you lost the little mind you have left?lol. So, I try to keep a reign on what I spend and when something comes along, I really want...I sell a few treasures to others so I can get a new treasure. :D The new Kwkn design really looks great to me too. Hopefully, one day I'll might be in a position to get Daniel to create something for me specifically. It has been really nice "talking" with you!

Take care,
Donnie

Thanks, Donnie.
lol! Let's pick up the phone, right?!
Dunt forget, tastes change. :D And... we knuts have a sickness we need to control.
Daniel is very accommodating. When yer ready, hit him up.
Hi DFerz!

Hey guys!

Rooster68... :D good stuff! Much appreciated.

Yesterday was our 12th wedding anniversary and we had a lot of fun... went to the local ski hill (Purgatory) and rented some downhill scooter/bikes that turned out to be epic gnarly!!! dude... :D No kidding though these were crazy! There were two trails to chose from and one was the 1990 Mountain Bike World Championship run. We chose the easier one... lol! I really want a downhill bike now though, it was a blast.

Back to work today... :D it will be a big week!

Happy anniversary!!!

I just look it up a downhill bike and didn't know a bike can cost over 10K! You can get a dirt bike for half of that price and it go uphill as fas as downhill! :D

Have a good one guys!

Lol, Daniel, I've got a frame set that would be just right for you... ;-)

I miss the gnarly mountain biking, but my time and interests just lay elsewhere these days. Also, not working in the industry anymore means I have to pay full price for parts now, lol! I only have a single speed MTB left, it's a great trainer, townie, and trail rig. Lots of fun!

Got myself a new bluegill rig real similar to little dude's, I liked his so much I just had to have one like it, lol! Scored a Zebco 33 (vintage with metal foot), went to Dick's sporting goods yesterday and bought a new 5'6" bait casting rod, picked up some new floats, fresh line, some more hooks too. Funny, I just realized I only got fixed position floats and not some slip floats. Oh well, can't never have too many bobbers!

Even though much of this is duplicate to some of my other gear, I like to have boxes ready to go for each type of fishing I do. I don't like taking my trout stuff out to suppliment my bluegill gear because I know I will forget to put it back, lol!

Just got home from work and I'm beat. Tiring day.

Hope y'all made it great!

Nice Xander!

I have owned a few 33's, they are great! That is a really cool setup.

What is a slip float... I have no clue as I have always used fixed ones... I think. :D

I have 4 fixed blades coming up, all are double ground and really nice! I finished one in Blackwood today and ground another... both are 61-62 RC 52100 and grind like diamonds! The one i ground today is a full flat grind right to the top with a sweeping plunge... I'm thinking wood or maybe micarta as it would be good in the field or kitchen.
