Favorite Coffee Mug and Traditional Knife

A bunch o' faves.

This is my newest. I can’t believe how close to perfect the fit is on this knife. The scales are mismatched but polished beautifully. Only one small gap where the bone meets the bolster is the only defect. Blade is centered and ground correctly for a change. It’s also flush closed, at half stop and open. The first Case knife that I bought sight unseen in years. Strictly amazed.

Normally color me like this when I get a new case knife>>>>>

I don’t have a favorite coffee mug, more like a few favorites. This one has some sentimental value to it, stamped on the bottom it says “Purchased at the first Starbucks, Pikes Place Market”. My grandparents brought it back for me over ten years ago when they visited Seattle. They’ve both passed since, but the mug remains. The knife just arrived yesterday thanks to the exchange here; been wanting a 54 and Ironwood is a cover I didn’t previously own. Great knife in hand, no regrets on this purchase. Maybe I’ll duplicate this shot in another ten years.

Not exactly a mug, let me introduce the ubiquitous Breton bowl. There's the forename at the front and I don't know many families who don't have one, this quite mandatory a souvenir from trip or holidays in Brittany or Vendée! :D This one from Cornouailles (little Brittany's Cornwall).
A Fishtail would have been more appropriate.
