Favorite EDC Spyderco?

Ti Sage II has been my favorite Spyderco EDC since I got it. I just bought the Sage I in CF tonight. Spyderco's not getting much love lately:
Mini Manix, Paramilitary, Stretch II, Native IV, G10 Endura

Ok, all I can say is "Damn Spyderco!!!"

Lol! Just a short month ago, I had none. Now I have a Delica (though I'll probably resell that one), and I have a Tenacious and a Stretch on the way! Can't wait till they get here. The Tenacious was through a trade.

Now I'm shopping for a Military and a Paramilitary. Think my wife is gonna divorce me! Hahaha!

If anyone lives near Portland, Oregon and owns a Military or a Paramilitary...I'd really like to hold them before forking out that kind of cash. Please let me know!

Thanks all

Endura full flat ground by Tom Krein & the Frn Dragonfly are the favorites. Gary

I rotate between these 5,

currently the Caly 3 is in my pocket.

man i want those top two bad! what models are they? what'd they set you back if you don't mind me asking?

just bought my first spyderco, I got the military digital camo plain blade, Im hoping that is going to take my number one spot for edc and knock my old leek out of the ranks... well see since I just bought it online today...

I really like my Navigator. It's an older Spydie design, but it has held up quite well over the last 12 years. Small enough to be legal in any locale, small enough not to scare any sheeple or attract unwanted attention, but big enough to do any cutting chore short of carving the roast beast. :D

Heck of a big knife in a small package! Have given them as gifts in the past. Wish they still made them.

er....you could give ME one as a gift!:D

1st post but thought I'd pitch in anyway....

All for work mind you:

January-April: Mainly SE Tasman Salt or CE Native
May-August: Depends on daily work load but usually my PE Pacific Salt
August-December: Tenacious CE (as a beater/all rounder), Persistence

Occasionally my Rat Izula will come out for the really hard tasks if I have it with me (more of a folder sort of a guy).

All my knives are users :)

To the OP:

If you are looking for something a little larger than what you already have, I would probably go with the military. It is not my favorite EDC Spyderco, due to the size. However, whenever my fiance' and I go to the cabin for vacation or her father's farm, the military is the first thing that goes in my pocket. It is large enough for food prep (excels at this due to the blade shape), the tip is needle sharp (perfect to dig out a splinter), the handle is large and easy to use with gloves.

Although, my usual EDC cutting task are actually quite boring, living in the city and working indoors. My usual EDC rotation of Spydercos consist of Sage I, Sage II, Caly 3 CF, Native CF, and Lum Chinese folder. The Caly 3 CF, Native CF, and Lum usually reside in my pocket most often. They are so slim and light weight, they just disappear. With any of these, I often forget I am carrying a knife. Even though it is slim and light weight, the Native CF is quite a strong lock back. I would not hesitate if I needed to subject it to hard use.

Favorite so far in a good sized list is sill the ATR (although it's discontinued) I did order a Gayle Bradley for a Dressier Folder in testing I usually use a Ti ATR for that.

Wow , that is the first user ATR with plain edge i have seen. i have some but they sit unused in a safe. To afraid to use them. But I do see serrated edge ATR's that have been used.

I wish more people would post there well used spydercos instead of the brand new pristine ones. I love seeing how the knife is supposed to look and hold up.

..and by the way, it looks great!

got any pics of your titanium ATR?

I would go for the CF Stretch II, it is a bit pricey, but it is the best edc knife I own, it will handle most outdoor tasks very well and doesn't seem to bother anyone, when it is used, in more "public" places..... it is a great design. The Military is a darn good knife as well, I just like lock back designs better than liners. Regards, Steve

Love the CF Sage I. Seems like it just keeps finding itself in my pocket! I'm not the biggest fan of the liner lock in general, but if the Sage III ends up being the bolt-action with the same beautiful CF scales, then I'll have a new EDC winner.

Have a bunch of Spyderco's. From early Cricket and Delica all the way up to Temperance FB, to include Para and Lil Temp, and the ones I'am never without is the Cricket or SS Dragonfly
