Hey, just what ya see, Pal........

Well.............. with all the 5.56 critic's and alleged lack of stopping power, the 6.8 SPC might be something worth looking into with the new bolt carrier design. If the 5.56 is having all the issues reported, it boggles the mind, why the Military continues to use it? Course, with all the AR's in service, it will always be a good idea to have one. I have also given thought to a different .308 rifle, as I have 2 Springfield's.
If we go into dream weapon's, The Barrett and several other brand's in .50 BMG would be interesting to play with of course, that's big money, and something I personally can't afford :)

This bag of worms is close to bursting at the seams.

LWRC IC
S&W M&P 40 elite
Winchester M92(or copy) in 45 colt or .454
Pair of Ruger Bisley's if you get the M92 45colt

You beat me to the post.
Cheytach M200 or Barrett M107 (M82)

If you don't already have an FN/FAL (or preferably one of the Commonwealth versions) then you really can't consider yourself a man.... ;)

My favorites:
Socom, Wilson Combat Prof, Mini-14.
Highly recommend the wild west guns Co-pilot! Sahweet!

Next Up:
I'm thinkin I need another shotty...probably a Benelli M4...Saiga and KSG are falling back.
Ruger just came out with a break down 10/22...that's a must have IMO for a BOB.

OK, for the record, your posting about that doggone H&K may have been a little more influential than I'd like to admit...'cause I went out Saturday to shoot my first one, an H&K USP .45. Now I'm not ready to give up the Brown, but I found it surprisingly accurate and easy to shoot, even for my little lady paws. And I admit, it is fun to go BOOM 12 times before swapping mags. And teardown for cleaning is a breeze. I love it! :D

Favorite gun? Well, since I already have a Bushy in .308, I'd probably look at another Brown. Just sayin'...

Man. I thought getting some ideas would make this easier. WRONG. Lots of interesting ideas. Now the decision is actually getting harder not easier. Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Keep em coming.

Garth

Just build yourself one of these:

It ain't no LWRC 7.62 REPR, but it gets the job done :D

Lots of Tactical opportunities out there for sure, but I'd like to offer one for serious consideration. It's value is rising daily if you do not like it's practical versatility

Or you might prefer a different length barrel

I need to unload my old Glock 21 and pick up a Gen 4 version of same.

I toy with the idea of some sort of long gun, but it makes no practical sense for me, as there is no convenient place to shoot it. My 2 year old Henry .22 sits unused in the corner.

I could almost justify a shotgun for home defense, maybe an 870 in 20ga, but resinwife would probably not agree.

That 610 and those Delta Elites are niiiooooce

Right now IS truely the good ol days in regard to the great selection of guns available and it makes it a tough choice for whats next. Since you like your new HK so much, get one you can actually carry everyday. This is my everyday companion, the H&K45C.
