i haven't really experienced much of the kershaws besides the s30v blur, the leek and the g10 cryo.

Just trying to see what everyone else is into.

Some knives I'm looking forward to hear about are the link, knockout, dividend etc.

**not a recommendation thread

Link is my go to kershaw knife it's a well made USA knife. The price point is great and it fires right open.

I don't have a ton of experience with Kershaw either, but I really enjoy my Leek in Elmax. Great little knife!

The blur is nice but the one that surprised me most is the kershaw-emerson cqc6k. I paid 21$ for mine and its surprisingly well made. I would personally dremmel off the wave feature but thats my personal preference

I have to go a little older school on this and say my Spec Bump. The blade shape can be a little difficult to sharpen, but it also gives you the in-line tip of a drop point, a section that functions as a wharncliffe and a deep recurve that extends the cutting edge significantly. Combine that with a lock that's fun to fidget with and an extremely comfortable handle and you have a winner.

this one for me...

It's...Oh, So Sweet

Kershaw was letting me down for a while. The link was my last hope. It redeemed the company for me, for now. Maybe being usa made? Its put together well, very solid. Aluminun scales and steel liners add a lot of strength. I had a big issue with the thermite because the knife had so much over all flex to it when open. I would love to see a larger link in the future. Maybe 3.5 inch blade with larger handle.

My Favorite Kershaw is easily the Blur. Just fits my hand very well; selling a few off but I regularly carry an ELMAX version, an OD green sandvik version, and have a black standard combo edge on my work rotation.
Also kept a blue/twill s30v one to carry, an older burnt Orange (440a) version, a black bdz tanto, and a tiger stripe combo tanto to rotate...

Next favorite is the scrambler, made in China but awesome for a stout "cheap" knife. And the discontinued Tremor I recently found in my closet is pretty awesome too. A lot of knife for the price.
I also like the Skyline for a smaller unassisted option.

Favorite Kershaw? That's an easy one. The Vapor II.
I bought it when the model was first released, way back when. I've purchased a few Kershaws since then, and none have appealed to me like this one does. (I did carry a Shallot for a while)
It doesn't get carried much any more; but every time I come across it, I end up putting it back in my pocket for a day or two before putting it away again.
(I'm reusing a picture, as I'm trying to redirect myself toward more productive use of my time)

Shallot for me.
I carried it from 2009 util just recently upgrading to a Spyderco Sage 1.

The only Kershaws I have are the "Kemersons"

The CQC-8K is my favourite. Basically, I treat it like a disposable CQC-7 as it's cheaper to replace and like the Seven, my hand just likes it. It's like my knife. Steel needs constant touching up, yes, but it's easy to do.

Used to like the CQC-6K a great deal too, but my knife has the lock wearing faster than anticipated, so not very amused. Have a 4KXL which is a great stabby looking thing but the point looks thin and not very practical for me; I find it difficult to choke up on it, so the 8K wins.

Haven't tried the 9K yet. Anyone here did?

Skyline probably. Blur is a great beater. VoltSS blew my mind for $15. Link might have it though with a very versatile design

I've carried a Scallion and a Skyline for several years, and enjoyed them both. I like the lines and shape of the Injection. I had a chance to handle and purchase one yesterday. Nice knife. But, it's imported and 8Cr13mov. I'm moving a little upmarket lately, and have bought a few knives recently. So I passed.

My Favorite "old school" Kershaw is the Big Joe 4200 made in Japan.
While certainly no a clone it was basically Kershaw's own twist on the classic Buck 110 design.
