Favorite Kershaw?

have many. like all that i own. liked the rogue auto the best when ya got one without lock bounce and the boa. just loved the looks and design of them.

^ Yes! The Ripcord is awesome! Such a unique knife. I think the quality around those years was at a high point.

The Ripcord is awesome for people like me who couldn't get an OTF. I wish they would remake it as I lost mine.

Other than than my favourite was the Blur. Today I love the Emerson Kershaws.

I suspect anyone who owns a Tilt, Ruby or maybe a Speedform will find those to be their favourite

The one that I like to carry is the most is the discontinued Tremor. I can't believe this is not available anymore. What a beast: 3 3/4" blade! What a price: $20-$30.
My navy blue Blur is my favorite, aesthetically.

Thanks for the pic of the Tremor!
The Thermite is one of the best "cheap knife" purchases I have made in a long time. I got a stonewashed, and a blackwashed for $23 each. They feel like $50 knives.

The Kershaw Zing with the grooved blade has been my main daily carry for several years. Same size as a mini griptilian, holds an edge well, attractive shape, etc. Sandvik 14c28n made in USA. I'd like some new scales (micarta specifically) for it since the originals are a little beat up but I don't have the skill and it's not worth high priced custom work. Solid well made knife though.

I've got a kershaw shuffle 2 I carry occasionally, it's a good looking knife but I've come to realize I don't care much for tanto blade shape, have considered re-profiling it to a more drop point shape to make it more useful. Scales are a little cheap feeling. Nice profile though and anything with a bottle opener attached is a plus.

My favorite and first Kershaw was a stainless lockback folder with a wood inlay that I bought in the 70's. Somebody stole that one in the high school locker room. Today I have a Leek but I've owned a few others in between.

Years ago I purchased a Vapor 2 for my daughter to use at a girls camp she was attending. I have to admit it is a nice knife but my all time favorite Kershaw is the the old US made Zing, designed by RJ Martin. I have owned a total of four Zings. One tanto and three standard drop points. I now only have two DPs. One black and one orange, my personal favorite. It is amazing what they sell for now if they are in good shape.

Kershaw ruined that knife when they moved production to China.

Just got mine in damascus !

for me it's the OSO-Sweet - just right for me for an A/O. Have many other Kershaws, all are good knives.

Definitely the Leek. I've owned three, now, having lost one on a train in Poland and another to a negligent wife. I hated the Cryo II so much that it doesn't even live with my other knives--it's at the back of a drawer in my study.

I bought my brother a Skyline, but he lives in Texas and lost it before I could visit. Never owned one, myself, but I might soon trade for one.

IMG_2352.JPG Have 2 favorites......Knockout, that my son stole, I mean borrowed and the HOB exclusive Link.
Carry the Link for work and it holds up like a champ!
Great knife!

I'm quite fond of the old Lahar and a VG-10 lockback they used to make (I think it was called Gentleman's Lockback or something like that). I feel those knives never got the attention they deserved.

Out of the current production models I really like the S30V Blur and the Knockout, as well as the whole Launch series (lovely autos at a very decent price).

Kershaw may be the brand I've bought the most of but I'm pretty sure I currently only own 2, the thermite and 1 of the kemersons. I do miss my tremor a bit but I'll say the leek is probably my all time favorite knife to give as gifts. I think I've owned and given away about 6 of them and they each had something (like a graphic on the scales) that made them unique. It also doesn't hurt that the sandvick 14c steel is just an all around awesome steel. It might not hold it's edge as well as others but I have an easier time putting a razor edge back on that then any other steel I've tried out.

My first Kershaw was the 1550ST with the serrated section of blade there is the 1550 with the non-serrated section of blade, both have Sandvik 14C28N steel 3.25" blades with DLC Coating, handles are glass filled nylon.
This Kershaw knife has been around for many years and is a real quality knife for it's low price.

I haven't bought a Kershaw in years so I might be wrong but my impression of Kershaw is: lots of decent folders ruined by assisted opening.
