Favorite Kershaw?

I love the knockout but don't curntly have it but my favorite Kershaw is my jade g10 Skyline the thing is awesome
+1 for the Knockout. It's really hard to beat for the price. I'm also a big fan of the Link and the Leek.

The Leek is my go-to gift knife. Readily available, comes in a ton of colors to suit the recipient, small and light enough for anyone to carry, USA made, big enough to do real work... A really incredible knife.

I haven't bought a Kershaw in years so I might be wrong but my impression of Kershaw is: lots of decent folders ruined by assisted opening.

I have to agree.

The boss's kid bought a Chinese Zing the other day. What a piece of garbage! Blade's not centered and you can feel how poorly everything is machined. And the AO is just useless on that model. I begged him to let me remove the SpeedSafe spring disabling the AO. Would he do it? Noooo, he likes the AO feature. All I can say is that he is young and given time his taste will change. Hopefully.

I like my Blackout. It has a palm swell that feels as good in my hand as any knife I own.
I liked my Blackout, too. I didn't mind the a/o; but the shop from which I purchased it only had the half serrated (I didn't even know at the time that it was available without serrations)

I'm surprised that there isn't more love in the knife community for the Diskin hunter fixed blade knife. The handle looks like it might not be as great as it feels but that is just one excellent fixed blade that outdoorsman should consider more at a great price point.

Also the Emerson collaborations are really excellent from my experience the cqc8xl and the new cqc9

What you can't take away as well from the pictures is the cqc4xl and xqx9k are BIG knives which is what I was hoping for from the Emerson collaborations.

My favorite Kershaw at the moment is the link. Bought both, swapped blades, gave my son the blackwash.

I'm seriously considering a HOB exclusive and one of those coyote tan models, swapping blades and gifting or GAWing the red&blue 420hc model.

I must be the odd one here as my A/O Kershaws were my favorites, while I sold or gifted all my non assisted ones

I diassisted my Blur to see how I liked it. It worked for a while then the detent started to go.
I want to put the spring back. Is there a grease I can buy off the shelf that would work to keep the spring in place?

The Shuffle 2. It's just an overall nice little knife at $20. The size is nice and the handle just fits nicely in hand for a small knife. Plus I love the multi tool on the end. It's there buts not in the way and doesnt stick out like a sore thumb

^ Yes!

The CQC7k is one of my favourites. It is just such a good knife for the money. It is nice and thin in a way that the real Emerons just are not. I don't know why but my CQC7k came rediculously sharp with an amazing edge geometry. I guess I just got lucky with this one. Still for under 35$ how can you go wrong?
