I have 2 Kershaws that I like very much. A brown Knockout in Elmax and a Clash in S30V. They both came from Knifeworks and Knifeworks still has them. I also have a Cryo 2 but it is a bit heavy but a rugged folder. Most all the "higher priced" Kershaws are very decent folders.
Another vote for the 1776 Link. I have the NBBW model with blue aluminum scales and blackwash blade. It looks good and performs well. For the same look but better steel you could go for the exclusive model with S35VN steel (but at twice the price) (also available in red).
And here's a "weird" one": the Ember. A Rick Hinderer design and tiny little thing with a pretty beefy blade (but then, I like small knives .) The 8Cr13MoV steel seems to hold up pretty well for me, but I'm not all that hard on my knives.
Yup, just sold my only MT. Don't need..don't want
Yup, 1776 Link.
Just bought the black blade grey scaled one. On it's way and just in time for my trip to Oregon and Reno.
