Favorite Large Folders?

"Large" is absolutely subjective, true. For me a large folder is anything above 3.5 inch blade... although for some, that's large already.
 
That Boker looks cool. You are right, it isn't really "mini" and would be big enough for me. I was curious as I assumed if there was a mini there would be a full size one but I can't find one (on eBay, anyway).
By the way the Spyderfly I mention above is of course the one you gave to me years back, thanks mate. :)
 
My new favorite...Demko AD-10...3.5" blade...8.75" overall.

I own a Pohl Force Alpha Two. This is my biggest folder. The heaviest I own, til now. Is made by a german knife designer. Steel is 440C. Absolutely Heavy-Duty.

Thrill, I just got done looking at the photos of this knife, they're great. ;) I'd love one of these but "custom" usually means "expensive." :P

I carry tip down folders in that back pocket, no problem since they ride against the seam to the outside. I don't sit on them.
Gmascus is G-10 with a damascus-like pattern.
 
My primary edc's are all 4+ inches. My favorites are a Strider RC last run, BM Onslaught, CRK Umnum, Strider RW, and my Kirby Lambert Sniper.

Dang, the more I see that ti millie the more I'm lusting over it. What's the deal are they available? Limited run? Have to buy aftermarket & are there some decent prices available? Anyone?

You must be a lefty? I have a Millie between my arms right now and held it up - the right hand version would open up and if you had it on the seam it would killing the *ss crack area I'd think? :confused:

Lot of cool and expensive knives you have there man. ;) Thanks for the video, I don't wave very well but I have a few waved models. Most are CS and I know their waves tend to be a bit harder to handle/harder on the pocket than something like a Spyderco wave for example, and maybe an Emerson (although I don't own any Emersons as yet, sadly. I should stop buying knives for awhile so I can get expensive ones.) ;)

I am right-handed. The clip on my Military is on the right side as I hold the opened knife forward, edge down. Closed in my right back pocket, the blade opens to the right, but that's against the outer edge of the pocket, keeping it secure.

Doooh :rolleyes: - as soon as I put it in my back pocket it all came into frame. Earlier I had a pair of gymn shorts w/o pockets on 'em and my visual got confused. I'm going to try it out and see how it feels tomorrow. Thanks!
 
For me large begins at 4 inches.

Cold steel X large to XXL Voyagers and Vaqueros. Different models. I wish I could make up the new model XL with a non san mai'ed VG1 blade. It's still excellent in Aus 8.

The M4 millie was a dealer exclusive and sold out. I saw one go for a reasonable price on the exchange recently. Don't know what's happening with the all Ti Military these days. Might be a few available if you do a google search. Seems most places list them as backordered.
