Favorite Spyderco ?

I would say paramilitary 2. If you can purchase one of the sprint ones, that would be even better. I recently purchased two of the brown para 2's in s35vn :), and they are just absolutely beautiful! Good luck with whatever knife you plan on buying. You can't go wrong with Spyderco.
 
Well, besides the Para2 and Sages. I would suggest the Squeak, Lum Nishijin, or a Urban. Actually I have 1 more Para2 in S35VN in stock :)

i wanted one of those bad, never did get one, not sure why.(i have a William Henry that i have never carried that i bought instead of a viele) one of the nicest spydercos made.
for me tho, its the starmate,
 
favorite? none for too long and too much. but i just bought my second titanium military s30v from the bay. :D
 
My favorite Spyderco of all time is my Para2. It really is a fantastic knife! Another knife that is a real steal as far as I'm concerned is the Gayle Bradley. Hope you find what you're looking for!
 
In same boat as you. Tried Mannix 2 XL. Too big I think! Beautifully made but really big blade and shallow carry (you can see the blade). Slim blade for the size but very sharp and well priced. I'll probably return this and get something else. (Maybe a regular size Mannix but different steel and sabre grind may be hard to avoid). The leaf shape doesn't do it for me. I did keep my new ZT 350TS for not that much more money. Seems stronger and better made to me. Cooler looking, too.

Spyderco wise the Sage 1 has a great carry/look and the Para II is probably most people's favorite (I prerfer this blade shape). But the price seems to be going up for some reason. I'm lefty so I might consider the Military lefty but probably not. To save money, I would get an Endura. Raises no eyebrows and gets the job done. VG-10 is good stuff. Not sure which grind I would prefer. Serrations seem much less popular than they were.
 
Perrin PPT for now. Earlier was Sage 2, before that Sage 1, and before that Delica 4, and then Native. Heck, most. :-)
 
I think you really NEED a PM2 and/or Military. The PM2 is a great size for EDC and they're just so nice, so much fun, and addicting. The compression lock is amazing. But, I also think everyone needs a Sage 2 as well. And if you want a more hard use folder with outstanding fit and finish, and if you like carbon fiber and great steel, look into the Gayle Bradley. It's one of those models that doesn't stand out as much until you look into ALL of the Spyderco's. It just seems to blend in with the many, many models. But you'll find that it's one of the very nicest with the best fit and finish, one of the very best blade steels, nice carbon fiber, and it's one of the very toughest as well.
 
My all time favorite Spyderco folder is and has been for a long time the C-44 big Dyad ( double bladed) model. It truly is the best of both Spyder worlds and to me is the most versatile full sized pocket knife ever made.

Oh how I wish they would do a Sprint Run of the C-44 in a newer/better steel than the original ATS-55 in which the original Dyad came with.

My favorite fixed blade model is the original FB05 Temperance model. After all the years I've owned it I still use it far more than I do just about any other fixed blade I own. I truly wish they would bring back the first Temperance model in H-1 or one of the Supersteels.
 
Spyderco Gayle Bradley and Caly 3 two best spyderco knives ever IMO.
 
Ive got a Manix 2 xl and Para-Military 2 that I alternate between week to week lol. My gf has a Ladybug in purple. I think you should go with a Ladybug :)
