No shit. This thread hasn't been good to me. Fun though...

Hey TripleT, which 18650 batteries should I get? Brand wise? mAh considerations as well please.

Andy what are the two small lights on the end!

I won't post a pic of my flashlights ;) I am a streamlight whore

My pocket dump, nothing exciting. No sheath knives allowed at work. Samsung S6 was taking the pic.

Surefire called.
Panasonic is the single US producer of all US made 123s and these are the only 123s Surefire says to use.
Bad stuff happens with other, "cheap", "imported" 123s. Don't use.
Do change out batterys from time to time, perhaps annually, as routine maintenance.
Always change both batterys at the same time. Not good to mix old partially discharged and new fresh bttys.
They have not "tested" 17670 or 16650s therefore don't sell them and have no comment on their use.
They've sold thousands of their 2x123 flashlights and are comfortable with above.
Just reporting......

Those are Lumii Orb and Lumii Raw. My understanding is that this was a custom maker from England making small batches. I got them direct from him and he is no longer in business. The lights are made from nickel.

Phillip, they are Japanese coins (where I am at the moment). Large is 500 yen, theres a 100 yen and the 2 with holes are 50 yen. 1 yen is worth just less than 1 cent US at the moment.

Moving today. Here is a quick, blurry pocket dump pic from earlier. This wenge 1/8 TT ladyfinger is outstanding. For the time being, I still have it in an ISP sheath meant for a hiking buddy.
