Fiddleback Collections

Hey Jon:

That's quite a line up you have. Nice mix of synthetics, burlaps & wood. I guess the obvious question is.......which of these beauties is your favorite ?

Peter

Thanks Peter... I would have to say the Cocobolo Woodchuck in 154 Stainless - I t just exudes quality.

An excellent choice.....aside from living in a coastal area where CPM reigns supreme, I also appreciate how a nicely fiddletextured stainless blade enhances the beauty of a quality wood handle. However, a Cornflower Blue stainless steel Hiking Buddy wouldn't be too shabby either would it ?

This week's collection... although a few never seem to make the photo ;)

Looking good Will. Some great wood in there.

OK, Tha Baron has been churning through a bunch... here is the latest and greatest set of family photos!

Wow Jon. That's quite the collection. Great mix of models, handles, etc. More than a few in there I wouldn't mind having.

Here's my most recent collection (one still missing) with two distant cousins!

kevroo - Great stuff there. That burlap and burl is awesome. Cool pins on the BLJ.

Thanks for the complement Thruin. That hunter is a Ken Special, I'm hoping sometime in the future I'll be lucky enough to snap another or two.

Thanks Nathan! There's a couple more on the way and I may swap out a couple, but I like where it's at!

That mosaic pinned Bow Legged Joe is badass.

kevroo - You have done very well in your selections. I especially like your Bushcrafters. Both are beautiful. I have to admit that I have never really "got" the Bow Legged Joe design. Nonetheless, yours is a beautiful example of that model.

Tha Baron - Jon you have gone from zero to an almost complete deluxe collection just since February. You have been busy. Very impressive collection. Your group shot has made me reconsider my neglect of a couple of models.

xxwjtxx - It is always impressive to see a group shot of your "collection de jour." I can't wait to see the "new" June collection photo. Always good stuff. I consider you one of my mentors around here my friend.

Thanks all,

Phil

Mr. Phil / Mr. Bona, thanks for the compliments!!! I consider myself very lucky/fortunate to own each one of these. All of you guys have given me solid & valuable information in making the choices of blades I've purchased.
Bonafide- The wife's words every time she see's the bow leg is "that's just too adorable".
Comp- I believe our tastes in knives are VERY similar. You own MORE than a few that I admire big-time!

Thanks guys!

I love this thread everyone thank you for all the pictures and different angles. This gives me something to aspire to. Awesome collection of knives!

Very nice assortment Bud. That is a model that has eluded me but is definitely on my must have list.

Thanks Bill ... it took me 6 months to score my first one and I have still never been able to shark one on a FBF. These were all picked up on the secondary market.

Nice Runts, Bud!! I have got my first one on the way. Really excited to see one in person.
