Fiddleback Collections

I'd love to see another scandi runt. I think that's the perfect grind for that little guy:

Wow! That runt is insane! You are always busting out with the crazy awesome fiddlebacks solid4ever! I would love to see a picture of your whole collection!

Oh man, Solid. You know how to pull at my scandi-lovin' heartstrings. If you want to get rid of her, I call dibs!

Sweet runt!

Apologies Gents. I do not own that particular beauty..though I do have a soft spot for (and own a few) scandi's

I just remember the knives that really pique my interest.

The runt is a great little knife. But i found myself wanting a little more in the blade. Andy made a knife for a while (I can't remember the name) that was very similar to the runt in the handle but the blade was on par with the length of the handle. Such a beauty!

Awesome thread Nathan.. Man snubnoses; one of two profiles that introduced me to fiddleback forge!

Nice find!

Thanks Will. There's so much awesome in that thread that I'd love to have. Palmer, Snubnose, Woodpecker. And I still need a Bushcraft Karda.

This might not stay up long as I fear what might happen if someone in particular saw it. Here is my current strange and eclectic fiddleback collection. I only meant to get one to three... I need to whittle out a few, because there are a few others I would like to add.:)

hasco,

You have a very nice collection going there. Is that the infamous "Hiking Buddy 02" on the left? It looks like you have also done well on the aftermarket/trading arena. I recognize a few of those from their previous owners. The good thing about having too many is that you have good trade bait to acquire the new one(s) that you decide you want next week.

Thanks for sharing the clear photos.

Phil

what are the scales on the 2nd one from the right and the 4th one? they are coo coo kachoo

Great collection hasco! nice diversity with the g10, woods and burlaps. Trinity pins, Predator pins, Mosiacs. Very cool. Great pics too.

Tod,
To echo the above comments -- great diversity; I love the Bocote and am drooling over the arete-- well done sir!

Beautiful collection there hasco I really like the bolstered BC

Mick

Thanks Mick! I think the bolstered one you are referring to is the arete. I don't have a bushcrafter.... yet!

Nice Hasco. Hey, is that Duder's old double mint terrasaur? Great knife!

Thanks Velosa. Not sure if that is Duder's old one or not. This one appears to be unused. It came on the market at the same time I was watching the new hobbit movie. I don't know what possessed me. Reminded me of an Orke slayer or something. It is my only FULL tang fiddleback and it is totally different than all the rest.

Thanks Phil. Not as themed as your beautiful collection of shadetrees. That actually is not the infamous hiking buddy 02. This one is maroon with black pins. It has thin liners and sits in your hands like nothing is there. I got it around the same time as the other and chose to keep this one.

what are the scales on the 2nd one from the right and the 4th one? they are coo coo kachoo

2nd one from right is stabilized and dyed curly and quartersawn Red Oak and the 4th is bocote.

ill take the bush finger!! thanks PM incoming!!

LOL! I like your style Max.

Great collection hasco! nice diversity with the g10, woods and burlaps. Trinity pins, Predator pins, Mosiacs. Very cool. Great pics too.

Thanks Thurin!
