Fiddleback Collections

Very nice collection Hasco! Love that recluse (?) in blue burlap with the orange pins. Put me on the list for that one. :)

Tod,
To echo the above comments -- great diversity; I love the Bocote and am drooling over the arete-- well done sir!

Thanks Will! I had seen a picture of that Arete a while back and just loved it. I had a feeling we were meant to spend time together. I had to pay a pretty penny to secure her though. I think the arete is my favorite blade shape so far, but if I could only keep one overall it would be that bocote kephart... when you touch it to wood it just starts singing away...

That is the black shade tree burlap recluse from last Friday. It just came today! I will keep you in mind if that time comes.

Ha! Looks deep purple/blue on my screen. The one next to it looks black though. Both are beauties no matter how my screen makes them look! :)

I use the woodchuck the most. Its the perfect kitchen knife. My favorite of the moment is probably the bushraptor. I find reasons to use that one over and over again.

Apocalypse Trio...

These are the three blades i'm grabbing if all else goes down.

The Camp Nessie does everything the bigger blades can do but stab, and i like the extra oomph you get from the longer handle for chopping. The bushcrafter does it all. I've written in detail how great the BC is when it comes to field dressing. The bushraptor might be somewhat unconventional of a pick to some. Why the raptor over the HB?... I like the extra length and width on the blade. I'll take versatility over "stabby" any day of the week. The bushraptor does this.

Bottom line: Since I've started this thread my collection has evolved and changed pretty dramatically. I still love woods the most, but i'm adding synthetics lately. I've also moved more towards the smaller blades. Nessies. Good lord... The most unconventional looking of knives, but just such great users.

Most of all, i've got to thank you guys. Yall have helped this collection evolve. I've made some great trades that have helped complete this collection.

I look forward to watching it evolve even more!

Wow! That is quite an awesome overall collection!

I love that bloodwood Camp Nessie. I was wondering who got that one. The blued nessie is awesome too!

I also love the Apocalypse trio. That should be a new thread!
