After 3 ½ weeks I've got glass back in my truck!!! It couldn't have come at a better time since rainy season is upon us. That theif cost me 3 ½ weeks, a to of taxis and inconvenience, and a couple hundred bucks, but I'm just rejoicing to have our vehicle back in service. Now this coming week I'm getting the windows tinted again! That is IF the rain lets up and there's a dry spell. Most work done on vehicles here is done just pulled off the road. No real "garages" here. A couple larger businesses here have a covered area, but most is done on the street!

Slightly off-topic for this thread but today I just have two words for y'all:

GO HAWKS!!

Dear Fiddleback Friends,

I want to ask you to join me in praying for our loved and respected friend Nathan (thurin.) In addition to the stress of starting a new job last month , he has been away from home for two weeks caring for his parents (Dave & Audrey) in Minnesota who are both suffering with cancer. Dave is in ICU now and fighting hard.

Let’s rally together and support their family with prayers and well wishes.

Thanks,

Phil

I have been away for a while, and I have been spending some time trying to catch up. Catching up on this thread has brought me to tears this AM realizing the struggles and challenges that many of my bretheren here are facing. Know that my prayers for healing and peace go out to Schmittie and his wife as they fight the good fight, and to Nathan as he cares for his ailing mom and dad. Also to my Missionary bretheren who are spreading the Gospel in Bolivia, may their troubles help to save those involved in the theft. And to babies yet born and unknown to us, I pray for both healing and the understanding to let them know how loved and precious they are to us.

To my bretheran who I have not mentioned as I only went back a few pages in this thread, I apologize for not mentioning your struggle, but know that you are in my prayers as well.

Today is our first day in chemotherapy. The mrs is getting hooked up now. I understand some of what you are going throuh Nate and wish you and your family the best.

Me and a fellow minister have made our way to Atlanta, it was a 20 Hour Dr. for me, my best friend just passed away at the age of 31 from a massive heart attack, we are here for the wake today and the funeral tomorrow. This is going to be rough! :(

Schmittie, I pray that your wife responds well to the chemo and has no serious side effects. Thanks for keeping updated on her progress.
