Hey Nathan,

So sorry for your loss! I almost lost mine just last year, was a tough time. All I can say is that a Good father is just a wonderful gift that is expressed everyday on how we live our lives. When I teach people, or help the guy on the side of the road, or help the person down the hall, anything I do it is with the Heart that was taught to me by my own father and the Love he showed me when teaching me was the Love God first showed him. Always remember the good times and that his imprint on this world is a reflection of the Man you have become. My family wishes you all the comfort to you and your family and to know that God is Good.

Grace,
Cory

Sorry to hear the terrible update and best wishes out for your family Nathan. My father passed away 9 years ago and I still miss him regularly. The saddest part for me, of him being departed, is that my daughters don't get a chance to know him or feel the glow of his adoration. My youngest was born after he died and it's hard for me spiritually, especially on days when she reminds me of him. I cherish ever memory I have and sure you feel the same.

So sorry, Nathan. There's never any words, not that make a difference in the enormous face of death. But many of us sit with you in your grief, and in the hope that you share.

Michael

Nathan,
Sorry to hear about your fathers passing. Lean on the loved ones around you. Your relatives may be one source of strength, but so is your family.
And brother, this family supports you.

I want to thank you all for the kind words, prayers and support. It's simply amazing.

We've just brought mom home from her surgery to remove some cancer. It's sometimes overwhelming for her (and us) to be dealing with that in the middle of grieving for my dad, but our faith, the prayers surrounding us and being together as a family are what get us through, regardless of what the outcome might be. She's recovering well and building up her strength for my dad's Celebration Service on Thursday.

I've been missing hanging out with you guys. I hope to be able to join back in with this great community soon.

Nathan, condolences to you and your family. Will be thinking of you, your mom and the rest of your family. Best.

Kris

I have many blessings to be thankful for. Two especially, my son that turned five yesterday and my brand spanking new niece, Audrey. Little Audrey was blessed with her first breathes of fresh air about an hour ago.

Wow.

Congrats Josiah! Pics like yours are why we are such a great forum and a great family here. Your son is ready to play short stop. We are a little ways away from even thinking about seeing grass here in Michigan.

Your niece obviously just said "screw it" I'm tired from that trip. :D She's beautiful. Great way to start a day. Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations, and great pictures, Josiah! It's neat that joint birthday parties are now possible. That sounds like a great reason for a family get together for years to come!

Congrats Josiah! Great pictures! I love your niece's name. It's the same as my mom's.
