It would be ridiculous to not have a sense of humor! You've got a good sense of humor. I bet Homeland Security loves you.

Being nonferrous the metal doesn't set off any alarms. I told my kids that it's the same stuff that the Wolverine has in his body. Not sure they believe me though.![]()

That's some serious hardware! I pray you have a speedy recovery (again), hopefully 3rd time is the charm and you won't need another spinal in a long time.
It's amazing how a positive attitude affects healing. Keep your head up and keep your awesome attitude! You might need to build yourself some claws if you're going to sell the Wolverine gig!
Good luck Anthony. I wish you a speedy recovery. My Mom went in this morning to get at least one screw put in her hip. You're not alone man. Keep up with the good sense of humor!
Thank you my friend. I just want to be functional and clearly that wasn't going to happen without some help.
Claws... Sounds like a fun project!![]()
Wow, a screw in the hip is no joke. Almost all of my pain presented in the left hip. It took 3 mri's, a bunch of cortisone injections and over a year on disability before they realized that it was the spine again. I will include your mother in my prayers. I wish the very best for you and your family.
I'd imagine so. Hopefully they have her set up with one of those push button dispensers. Calling the nurse every hour or two gets old.Thank you Anthony. She made it through surgery just fine and is doing well, albeit in quite a bit of pain. Now for a speedy recovery
Edit - She just texted me that she's getting some morphine before bed. She'll be in good spirits momentarily I think.
On a different note, today is my birthday and I'm celebrating with a Camp Nessmuck from the Flea Market. Can't wait!!
Will also be swinging by the antique mall in the next town over to see if the H-B Boys axe is still hiding in the back corner for $25.
