Josiah I just want to say thanks for starting this thread. I know a lot of us have used it and we all need a little lift once in a while. I think it's touched a lot of people. I applaud you sir.

Wow Anthony! Will be praying for you buddy.

Thanks brother. Prayers are greatly appreciated. I had three of my pastors stop by at the hospital and them just being there was much more effective than the drug's.

Sorry to hear that Anthony. I wish you the best in your recovery. Sending prayers. I hope you can get back to your sheath making soon!

Thank you as well! I think getting back to work is critical for a fast recovery.

Prayers for a quick and speedy recovery. Get well soon!! [emoji106][emoji106]

Thanks man. You guys are exactly why I'll always come back to the FF forum.

Anthony,
After all you have gone through, good to see a semi-smirk on your face. Praying for a speedy recovery for you. Do they let you keep the old hardware? Bet you could find a way to incorporate it into a clip or retention or something.

Preston

Thoughts, prayers, and smoke headed out for Anthony! I wish you a speedy recovery and many years of health and good fortune!

Thanks guys. :)

Preston, yeah, I asked my surgeon if I could have the hardware. He said, "you paid for it" and handed me the bag after I woke up. There are definitely some bits that can be repurposed. A couple pieces are already close to being necklace charms.

These should work well as lanyard beads or thumbstuds.

I've got a screw down the center of the bone in my left arm that's about 6-7" long. That might be cool for something too. I don't think that one will be coming out though.

Wow Anthony. Praying for you bro.

Thanks Andy. Btw, big congrats on the mid-tech line. You guys are just killin it.

Now if can just get a FF folder I'll be all set. [emoji14]
You've got a good sense of humor. I bet Homeland Security loves you.
It would be ridiculous to not have a sense of humor! :) I can get all bummed out or think about the gazillion ways I'm blessed. It's an easy choice. ;)

Being nonferrous the metal doesn't set off any alarms. I told my kids that it's the same stuff that the Wolverine has in his body. Not sure they believe me though. :D

LOL!! Love the attitude buddy. A sense of humor goes a long way. I hope you recover and mend well Tony. :)

That's some serious hardware! I pray you have a speedy recovery (again ), hopefully 3rd time is the charm and you won't need another spinal in a long time.

It's amazing how a positive attitude affects healing. Keep your head up and keep your awesome attitude! You might need to build yourself some claws if you're going to sell the Wolverine gig!

Good luck Anthony. I wish you a speedy recovery. My Mom went in this morning to get at least one screw put in her hip. You're not alone man. Keep up with the good sense of humor!

Thank you my friend. I just want to be functional and clearly that wasn't going to happen without some help.

Claws... Sounds like a fun project! :)

Wow, a screw in the hip is no joke. Almost all of my pain presented in the left hip. It took 3 mri's, a bunch of cortisone injections and over a year on disability before they realized that it was the spine again. I will include your mother in my prayers. I wish the very best for you and your family.

Hey gang.

It's been a few months since my big dog surgery sell off. Just letting you guys know my pup finally had his surgery last week. He made it through (when you have a bulldog or other smush face dog the chance of them not waking out of anesthesia is around 30%) and was in good spirits although drugged out of his little bulldog mind afterwards. Due to this being his second stint w bladder stones they took his balls with them this time (something about the extra testosterone aiding with stone growth), so he has a huge scar running the length of half his body. Just one week down in his 4 week recovery, he's bouncing off the walls. I can't get this guy to settle down. Good times and I'll take them.

Just wanted to give you guys an update, cuz your knife purchases were a doggy investment. Returns are good. We both thank you all

Thank you Anthony. She made it through surgery just fine and is doing well, albeit in quite a bit of pain. Now for a speedy recovery :-)

Edit - She just texted me that she's getting some morphine before bed. She'll be in good spirits momentarily I think.

I'd imagine so. Hopefully they have her set up with one of those push button dispensers. Calling the nurse every hour or two gets old.

I'm really happy to hear she is well. Mom's are important. :)

On a different note, today is my birthday and I'm celebrating with a Camp Nessmuck from the Flea Market. Can't wait!!

Will also be swinging by the antique mall in the next town over to see if the H-B Boys axe is still hiding in the back corner for $25.
