I've been away from the forum taking care of life

for a few days and I just read all of this. WTF??
Andy's going to be hours just reading this thread.
1) This continued issue with selling out the back door baffles me. If I have a company and a customer takes the time out of their busy day to stop by my business there is no way that I'm sending him away without a product that he wants. I think that speaks volumes for the product support. Also if somebody calls my business with a very special request for a particular product then again I am going to do my best to get that product to them. I had an absolute blast taking a 200 mile detour out of my way to tour the shop, meet the crew and buy a knife from Andy. That would suck to not allow that to happen because somebody saw a knife in a pic and they can't have it now. I just can't wrap my brain around that.
2) Sneak Peaks - I would hate to see Bud's previews go away but maybe it's for the best. I can't believe I'm even saying that but I'm not the one dealing with the whiners. If it saves Andy some BS from the whiners then maybe it's for the best. I'd love to see the shop pics continue but that is up to Bud. I appreciate your efforts Bud.
3) Rules for Friday - This one is difficult and I don't have an answer. I hate to sound like broken record old guy here but ... I truly miss the simplicity of the old days. Don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful to see Andy's business grow to this level over the years. In the beginning there were many batches that went days or weeks without selling out. Obviously that's difficult and unacceptable when supporting a family and employees. Now it takes only minutes or hours to sell out and the batches are 3 and 4 times as big as the early years. The growth is outstanding and I'm elated for the Fiddleback network. The early batches were random and that was my favorite method. You never new when Andy would release a new batch. That was exciting when you were surprised with a new batch. The batches and sales grew and then Fridays were born. Again an exciting time. Now Fridays have reached a fever pitch. There are many methods and tactics being used. I'm old school so I won't be utilizing the latest technology, tactics or writing a program to simply buy a knife. I also have to work on Friday's (Like so many) in reference to a comment I read to justify some of these tactics. I'm fine with all of it but I still won't be doing those things and I guess it's my loss. I often miss Fridays anyway and I rarely get the knife I attempt due to my antiquated hunting methods. I liken my old school approach to bow hunting I guess. There is a special reward when I shark a knife with my bare hands and a keyboard!! If I miss out No big deal. I'll grab something different or pick one up in the Flea Market and that hopefully generates another sale for Andy's crew.
4) I've also watched the forum participation explode with the same growth. I've see a lot of members come and go. That's natural with so many options and changes in the knife industry. I really enjoy the forum. I consider everyone here friends and I've made a lot of long lasting friendships over the years. I absolutely hate to see this unnecessary drama constantly. It tarnishes the best forum on this site.
5) Lastly, in all of MY dealings with Andy over the years I have never once had Andy be any less than straight up honest and professional. Customer Service has always been the number one priority here and I've seen it repeatedly.
I hope you don't eliminate Friday's Andy. I also hope that anyone with their panties in a bunch can take step back and just chill out a bit. We are talking knives here. There are much more important issues in life than not getting a knife that you want. Go read Duder's Community Center thread and reflect a little. Let's all be thankful for what we have here. It's a great forum thanks to Andy and the entire Fiddleack Forge crew and community.
I'm done ... (drop the microphone
