Haha, my bad. I just had shoulder surgery, and am still taking pain meds. It's Box Elder Burl, I am very pleased with it.

My first Fiddleback Forge! A Bushboot with black bulster, sapphire burlap and white liners. Picked it up from DLTtrading and I'm very happy with it! Hoping I can find a Bushfinger as my next purchase in a similar handle material. Maybe on the next Fiddleback Friday, if only this weeks Bushfinger was in Sapphire burlap instead of cotton candy Lol!

F2 with the first mushrooms of the year! A nice little bunch of oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus). They tasted great sautéed with some red wine and put atop an elk steak.

When i came back this weekend this baby was waiting for me. I am usually not so much into dyed burls but when i saw this one couple weeks back it was love at first sight.

I never saw before a BANANA NUT BREAD dyed burl and not sure if there was one before....either way i like it a lot and the taper plus Sylverfalcen style makes it rather rare i would think.
