Fiddleback User Pics

Than white linen always looks so cool, but I would be paranoid I'd loose it here right now lol

Hey all, here are a few from tonight; I received my new hiking buddy to match my woodsman as well as some new leather from Rick Lowe! Can't wait to get this knife out in the back country;7-8 Weeks until I'll be all healed up.. Can't come soon enough!

wjt,

That is a beautiful and practical pair if you were only going to select two Fiddlebacks for all of your needs. I don't have a Woodsman yet, but it is on my short list.

thanks for the comparison photos.

Phil

That's a nice woodsman you got there WJT. Take care of her.

Thanks Joe; will do I'm loving the knife and really looking forward to putting some field time in with it!

Hah, yeah all of our snow melted off today, by we are supposed to get a fresh batch tonight! Andy's white linen knives are really nice -- I've even gotten complements from guys who are more preferential to Striders, Emersons, and such on the knife!

Thanks Phil, I guess if I had to ditch all of my other bushcraft knives I'd pick these two as well... Although the kephart is a close second! I'm really liking the woodsman; I haven't gotten to doing any field work with it yet, but I plan on taking my gopro up on the AT for a few solo overnighters in a month or two to get some pics of it in action!

Breaking in the Camp Nessie. What a fun knife. Split some wood, made some curls. Love the thick handle on this one and a great grind.

I don't quite remember where I saw it but does anyone know where I can find that picture of a nessie on top of a camp nessie? I want to see the size comparison.

It's in my two for Tuesday post a few weeks back

Yeah, well with your abnormally large hands I guess a thick handle is really a plus :D Good looking knife man. Never handled the camp Nessie, but the regular model is a treat to use also.

Oh man she looks to be having a great time!!! It's becoming one of my favorite knives. Enjoy her!

I think I know something you'd like about this one Mist: since it's guardless, it'll make a great camp kitchen (or even home kitchen) knife. Nice full rocker action.

Thanks wjt! It's a good one. Really comfortable. Great weight and balance. It's been fun so far.

That is one awesome matching set my friend!!! How did you ever manage to get a setup like that? I didn't any of those knives on FF Friday and I know Andy doesn't take any custom orders. I'd love to know how you put those two together.

Patience that was about it! HB was from an FBF two weeks ago, the woodsman was from a while back. . I've just been sitting on it until I could find a match. I also have a Kephart and camp nessie I found on the exchange that matches as well. Some folks like shade tree, others like maroon canvas, for me it's ironwood.

Oh yeah, pretty sure Andy had camp cooking in mind with that one :)

Hunter and Camp Nessie. Brothers from another mother?
