Now for something completely different. ...

I saw a video on making all natural dog treats out of sweet potatoes. I love my rotte so I had to give it a shot.

Get your taters, knife, and cutting board.

Slice them up.

Set the oven to 400° and bake them til crispy. The length of time is anywhere from 20-45 mins, depending on how thick or thin they are. If you spray the slices with a bit of oil, the orange color will be a bit darker. But don't worry. Your dog won't know the difference.

I didn't get a pic of the final product but you get the idea. I did these a few weeks ago and puppy loves em!

I'd eat those

This thread cannot be diminished. It shines. I love the pics cutting up the melon.

Yeah it is. I'd never seen it before now. It's actually a leek, but looks and tastes like garlic. Very mild, disappointing really lol.

The stuffed mushrooms were great though.

after the recent thread about the BC Jr. I decided to break mine back out for awhile
A2 is really awesome in the kitchen especially if you have a spouse that "freaks out" when you start cutting on something in the kitchen w/ a knife that has been used or has some patina on it. Kylie has gotten over it, but she would make comments when we first started dating about it being "gross".

They are delicious! I can't wait for black morel season when I get to go into the mountains, but these yellow river dwelling morels are pretty fun to look for also.

You ought to get out and do a little looking sometime! I could positively ID a morel from a picture of it and another of it cut in half lengthwise. They're really easy to ID.
