Fiddlebacks and Food

I've purposefully been ignoring all of these Kamado discussions... I'm intrigued though. I have a Weber Smokey that I smoke with, but our grill is in need of replacement.
I'm with u my webby or my MES are my smokers and I need a new grill the bottom finally rusted out of mine. I want a KJ but I'd have to sell a few knives in order to afford one lol..

I went into a trance while I scrolled through those... :D

Here was our dinner tonight. Not cooked on a KJ, but the entire meal was created from things we killed and gathered.

Deer leg roast, sliced thin and pounded to tenderize, marinated in soy, worchester, oil, spices, etc. for a couple hours. This turned out amazing. As tender as tenderloin, super tasty. Accompanied by black morels from yesterday, sauteed in butter, and grilled wild asparagus.

Looking good Odaon!

Doing some cleansing this week (possibly into next week). Simple green smoothie tonight for supper next to my trusty BC

Being able to make a meal out of all things harvested by you is a great feat. Kudos

throw a couple tablespoons of this stuff in addition to that marinade and a slight dash of sesame oil. it is awesome but a touch too hot for Kylie.

catalystman80 good luck on the cleanse

Thanks Phillip. Wow, you know gochujang!?!?!?! That's like Korean ketchup, except possibly more prevalent in Korean dishes.

Thanks!
It's nice to get back on a normal eating schedule and being able to make the food
