Fiddlebacks and Food

This could go over in the off topic thread, but this dark color is the result of 10 days aging a whitetail. It's about to hit the grill. Bon apetite!

This will be EPIC! How did you age it-- dry or wet?Always looking for new ideas!

BTW, nice rustic patch

Haha, a good hotdog is always solid Phillip!

xxwxjtxx - check the off-topic thread... I posted a semi-detailed response.

ps: it did turn out epic

Ashamed I didn't clean the lens before this picture. But at least the venison turned out... oh and so did the compound butter, rosemary mashed potatoes and caprese salad from the garden. All prepped and eaten with a Fiddleback Forge Patch.

edit: A different Fiddleback Forge Patch cleaned the deer so it was Fiddleback from the beginning to end.

Gotta love food prepared with a Patch.

That meal looks scrumptious! Thanks for posting.

Much welcomed lazy Saturday. Hung out walking around in town with the wife, and had ourselves some burgers and milkshake. If you're ever at New Hope, PA and want to have some grass fed burgers in moderate portions, stop by at the Moo. The Chaplain picture is a bonus...found it kinda amusing....
