@Vance, I'm firing up the egg tomorrow, so I'll get some shots up as well -- nice tri tip!

Man that thing's cooked to perfect temp Vance. Making me hungry, and I just ate!

Nice duder, I love it when people cook local ingredients.

Dude. Who did that sheath for the recluse?

It was a sheath that came with a Ladyfinger that I purchased. It has a compass rose stamped on the back. I darkened it with left over hair dye of all things. Funny, but that stuff works and I had it around. I like the way it turned out.

It turned out great man! Hair dye? Would never have crossed my mind!

Absent minded!! I'm trying to post recipes on here

Chicken Tacos
Chicken (Whole, breasts, thighs, whatever floats your boat) season to taste and "brown" chicken for a minute or two each side (if whole just season) throw in stock pot.
Add broth or bouillon cubes proportionate to water (read label for directions)
One whole onion. I cut into halves and quarter each halve.
3 garlic cloves. Just smash and throw in.
2 whole tomatoes.
2 cans of tomato sauce.
2 jalapenos cut and throw in. (de-seed if you cant handle the heat)
1 small bag of carrots
1 cup of fresh cut cilantro.
2 limes. half squeeze, leave some juice to stew

Season with salt, pepper, cayenne, comino, etc to taste.
Fill pot with water and cover chicken (should be about 3/4) full

Bring to boil. lower heat and simmer for one hour.

Take chicken out to cool. Let broth cool.
Blend broth and veggies together in a blender.

Shred or cube chicken meat once cooled. Put meat in a container and pour blended broth to cover half of chicken. Mix chicken well and serve over warm four tortillas. Homemade tortillas ya bastards!! not Mission!!
If your brave enough. the remaining broth makes one hell of a Bloody MARIA (bloody mary 86 vodka sub Tequila)

Enjoy!!!

I'm making this right now. Smells delicious! Thanks for the recipe!

Delicious! A big hit with the family. I did screw up the blending piece... I failed to take the limes out first. Thankfully I realized my error (tasted it) before anything else went to waste. Oh well. I'll get it right next time.
