Finally got screwed, culprit firesteelsurvival

Here's another young idiot who forgets that one day some potential employer will google the name NATHAN THOMPSON and the first hits will be that he (NATHAN THOMPSON) is a scamming thief who commits mail fraud and when given the chance to rectify the situation showed his true colors as a scumbag. Maybe this potential employer will call him at 740-353-2527, the phone number he listed on another forum and talk to his Mommy and/or Daddy.

Would you hire him???????
 
what a bummer man.. this kind of stuff pisses me off... :thumbdn: the knife community is a pretty tight knit group of folks...

maybe the Landi will bite him...:cool:
 
I just don't understand why people think because the guy who scammed them could be a kid they should give them a break. :confused:

If anything the fact they are a kid should mean the opposite. A good kick up the arse from their folks or the cops
just might help straighten them out, it should at least get them thinking about consequences in the future.

I hope someone DOES contact this little cretins parents AND does file mail fraud charges against him!!!
 
Pretty freakin sick. At 14 I was buying Microtech Ultratechs from Blade HQ. And on JD I had bought a Dalton Kilroy. Pretty sad that others with the same interest and same age range can't also be honest. Sorry To hear this man. I've never been screwed by a fellow forumite. That's as low as it gets.
 
Calling his parents was a good idea but the phone numer that I have for him has been disconnected.
My emails have gone unanswered, but maybe Esev's demand for an explanation will rattle his cage. I have also noticed that someone posted to his you tube site calling him out on this. For now, this info has proliferated further then he ever could have realized. When he looks on BF, or KF, or youtube he will have reminders of his dishonesty staring him in the face. We will see what happens next. i will continue to update.
 
That sucks. Sorry to hear you lost your Landi for a ground up knife. :(

That being said, you should contact the local PD or take the shipping address and try to find a working phone number.
 
i did not try rip this i guy off. ok heres what happend first thing the he made the offer to me i told him i would think about it so i thot about it and told him i would trade so i was bored and was checking my emails and i got a traded offer for it from another person and he wanted a plain egde so i went to my sharrpining stone and sanded down the serrations and then i got an email that said the guy did not want to trade so i traded to the guy with the landi and the military was not in that bad of conditon and i sent him the knife and he sent me his knife i did not want to rip him off befor i could tell him any of this he already sent the knife so im sorry and will send him his knife back he may also keep the military i sent him im really sorry i really did not want to rip any one off. the reson i did not reply any of his emails was because he was beening a big asshole about it telling me he wants his knife back insted of asking.
 
well, I'm not gonna really rag on you cause you said your sending back his knife so your doing the right thing.just some advice, being honest about your knives condition and any modifications is a big deal when making any sales or trades here.best of luck
 
lesson learned im sending the knife back all i want to do know is make things write i know it was wrong for me to do what i did all im really truly sorry plz everyone i hope you all can forgive me for my stupity and ignerance.
 
You should learn to use punctuation and capital letters at the beginning of your sentance's too. Just sayin. keepem sharp
 
As you can tell, we run a tight ship here and with the interwebs it's easy enough to research just about anybody. If it were you in the other shoe, we would be banging down the other guys door just the same. I'm glad to hear that you plan on making things right.
 
When I saw the OP's post in Service & Support, my first reaction was "oh, crap, here we go again." I'm happy things worked out for the best - or at least things look like they're going to work out. Be sure to let us know when you get your knife back.
 
im really sorry i cant say it enuff i know now it was wrong i learn my lesson i see know if i was in the same spot i would want my knife back to. cant you all forgive and forget. i dont care if you dont deal with me, just i have feeling to and you dont have to go with the name calling. really i cant say how bad i feel about all of this i just want to do the write thing to be a better person this hole thing has opened my eye and i done with all the bad i just want to be a good person and move forward not back.

There have been quite a few people who have said much the same thing recently and then proceeded to continue to screw people over. If you want people to trust you have to earn it with your current and future actions. Making this transaction right with the OP will be an important first step.
