**** FINALLY SHIPPING THEM - 2009 Forum Knives update

Got mine last night. I wasn't a barlow fan until votes started coalescing into this finished product. This is truly a knife for the ages. I could write pages and pages on how awesome this knife is. Thank you Gus and Steven, and especially our masked stag donor for making this truly unique knife happen. This is definitely going to be my #1 EDC (with emphasis on the E!)

Sorry Modoc ED,

They are all spoken for, but watch for the 2010 forum knife sign up.
The way this works is that we sign up, pay for the knife and place the order.

Got mine yesterday. It is all and more than I expected. Thank you Gus and Steve for putting it all together and kudos to the mystery stag doner.

I received my package today. Wow!!

All I can say is, this is some knife. Really came out great. Should ordered 2, cause I don't know if I can use it, so purty and all.

Many thanks to Gus and Steve for their hard work, and of course, our mysterious stag benefactor.

Top notch knife!

I already did. I cut out a Midieval English shield for a school project for my 6th grader. I was looking for something to cut. My wife was pleased that I waas so willing to help with school work for the lil bastids....:D

That's ok Bastid. Like I said, I wasn't here when the sign-up for this knife took place.

Hope everyone enjoys their knives.

I've been messing around with this cutter for a few days now. It's been in and out of my pocket --I don't know-- a lot. Anyway -- The D2 just gets screaming sharp. I don't know about you guys but this is a tougher than nuts workhorse knife. I just can't get over the quality and craftsmanship, and it really gets sharp. So once again thanks to all of you.

I got my knife!

Holy cow. I was expecting a nice knife but honestly didn't expect what I have right here. F&F is impeccable. I compared it to some of my other Queens and S&M and this one is as good or better than my best examples from Queen/S&M.

Now......I've definitely talked some smack about the lack of decent edge on most new Queens I get....but.....this one actually came with a decent edge on it. What? Yea...I said it...it came with a decent edge. :D

I'm extremely impressed and happy with this knife. Thanks to the fine gentleman and Gus :p who made it possible.

pics to follow...

I got my knife today. It is one sweet knife.:D Thanks Gus and Steve for pulling this off. Fit and finish is excellent and the walk and talk is perfect. Very nice stag.

My knife turned up this lunchtime, the pictures of the knives look good!! Heck though the real thing is awesome looking without doubt, can't put the knife down. The stag also is a show winner. As I originally put forward the idea for the Roman Numeral date I must admit I was real pleased to see the design run on this years knife. Thank's to all who were invloved with this project, well done everyone!!

I believe I voted against MMIX, and wanted 2009 instead. I am glad you won.:D

I haven't carried her yet. I just keep going and opening the box, and gently opening up the package and staring at this knife. Then I clean my dirty prints off gently and place back in the box and back in my knife drawer. This happens a few times a day. I am affraid to ruin this beauty. I hope I can muster up some courage someday and carry and use her.

Use it/her, they're meant for that, I've already put my own edge on mine and have used all day long so far, it is a beautiful knife though. :)

Well, I got home & it wasn't here...well, that's what I thought. My Wife wasn't home when I got back, but thought it'd be funny to take the box with her, ha ha.

Anyways, it came & I am impressed. WOW!! Very, very nice & thank you Gus, Steve, anymous stag donor, & everyone that made this possible.

What surprised me were the blades. I couldn't believe their length. I measured the knife at 3 7/16" & the Wharny at 2.75" & the Clip at 2 11/16", & yes, they're sharp for a Queen. I couldn't believe it.

Oh yes, & it went into the pocket as soon I finished fondling it.

Just received my 2009 knife and WOW, it even looks better than in the pictures. A big thank you to Gus and Steve and all that made this take place. I must say that you all talk about half stops and this must be my first experience with this sold of a stop at mid point. Great knife! The handles make the knife have feel to it. Wonder if Jackknife approves of this knife. Thanks again.

Mine arrived yeserday, Wife said "theres another package on the table, you had better grab it or Zach (3 yr old son) with open it". I stuck it away until little ones were in bed and then opened it, wife said "Oh, Another knife!" and walked away. Not sure what I can say that has not already bee expressed, this is a GREAT knife! I have not been a fan of Barlows in the past, for some reason the only ones I have picked up felt cheap and flimsy. This is a TANK! This is probably the sharpest that a factory knife has ever come to me. I love it, it is in my pocket right now and is likely to stay there, until my KH backpocket gets too jelouse and I have to switch back. Thanks to all who made this possible!
