First Anniversary Stag Party - GAW

Corey,

I remember when you first showed up, planning to buy one knife and get out. You can’t say we didn’t warn you. :D

I’m not really a collector. I’ve just been buying knives, and mostly keeping them, for fifty or sixty years.

I’m in because I was there when you started, because I love stag, because that’s knife is a beauty. I’m glad you stayed around. Thanks.

Hey Cory! I've been collecting knives for about 2 years now. The first year was Benchmades, Spyderco and Kershaws and now I'm in to the OG knives (traditionals) I'm in. Thanks for the chance.

Cory-I have been a member here for quite a while (2008), but only became more active after touring GEC's factory during the 2014 deer season. I had originally joined BF to try and find information regarding the Camillus made double lock back trappers. I bought a yellow jaket model from a pawnshop while in high school. It served me well for years to field dress and skin during successful hunts. I decided I needed a back up and thus my collecting began. I have a handful, each are different. When my grandfather passed, I got into collecting Western's. When I made the trip in 2014 I became engulfed in the passion for these knives.

Thanks for the opportunity!

Well, in perfect BF fashion Random.org selected post number 47. I am really excited because Rockon just exhibited great generosity to our friend Brett, and now he is going to receive a replacement for the knife he returned home. PM incoming, Rockon.

I want to thank everybody that participated in this thread. In the last year Blade Forums has become the first place I check every single time I have an Internet connection. I have such high opinions of the members that post here, and it really was nice to hear some of their thoughts on me. One year down, hopefully many more to come.

Well done Cory! Thank you for what you bring to this forum and for hosting this generous GAW.

Rockon, congratulations!

Chris

As many have noted, your first year was very good for BF; thanks for your contributions here.

Well, Cory....and BF crew, I'm astonished. The knife is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm very excited because I've never owned any form of the #89 pattern. I can't wait, its like Christmas. Cory, many thanks!

Congrats! Hope you had a great vacation as well! You didn't report any shark bites and I didn't see your name on the news so it's good to know you kept it safe lol. Enjoy the knife!

Thanks everyone, I'll post up and reply when she gets here. Again-thank you Cory!!

She arrived today. Thank you Cory, it is very-very nice. I will get some pictures put up tomorrow. First impressions-Picture A Tall Ballerina That Knows Kung Fu! It's sleek, but looks like it can really be put to work. I'll post up tomorrow, thanks again.
