Only thing I don't like is the cheesy logo on the pocket clip and no hand guard flipper, other than that these look like a must have for 2014.
Argh! Tried to pre-order the 4K and apparently it can't be shipped to my zip code. Well that blows.

Yeah. Brooklyn. I know we've got some pretty draconian knife laws but I've never had problems ordering manual knives in the past. Even assisted openers. So this is weird. I imagine I can just have it shipped to my dad's house on Long Island, if anything.

I feel your pain... I'm in Queens.
Wonder if there's any difference to the 8cr14mov that Kershaw is using on the Emersons, compared to the 8cr13mov on the other import Kershaws

probably not much of a difference but #13 is bad luck, so I think carrying a blade with 8cr14mov gives you more luck than 8cr13mov.

How well do you guys think these will stand up to using the wave feature? That's a lot of stress on a lot of parts, add made in China to the equation.... I don't want to have to send this thing in for warranty every 6 months.
Actually in China where the knives are produced, 13 is considered VERY lucky.
